I am speechless, this whole episode was so special, there is this overwhelming feeling which is about to burst . Special..that's the perfect word for this episode.
Manjha was such perfection. Without Manik fab5 were lost for a second, it's not about music or winning for them but being together, the friendship and the love they have for each other. Fab5 will always be the stars and the true winners. Because they are not together for revenge, winning or want to prove someone , they are together because they are family. There's a reason that Fab5's friendship is one of the central themes of the show. It's because their bond is so strong. I may call them too co-dependent for their own good but today..seeing them so united in their common love for music, this strength that only they have just by being a group...I am stunned. I really am.
I guess this is why I will always feel disconnected with NH3 because somewhere they are together because of one goal not some bond. They will separate and go different ways. They will never be able to break or defeat Fab5. Yes..NH3 might've come together with something common but all of them didn't have an equal say in their coming together. Nandini initially wanted no part in it and she brought Shahid in. Their love for music isn't bigger than their animosity with Fab5. Which is complete opposite of Fab5. Their rivalry sometimes feel so one-sided..
If defeat is like this then there is no need of winning. 👏👏
Cabir, Ayaz killed it. That one line , he poured his heart out . The stare he shared with Raghav, I don't know what to say. I just have a feeling it is something different that is troubling him.
Dhruv was in his element because his buddy was with them on that stage. There was poignant , pious silence while fab5 was singing , it was like each one of them inspite of their worries and tensions , connected together to create music. The way Cabir looked at Raghav and then became so immersed in his music, leaving Raghav to stare at him while he was all lost...it was brilliant. It was..simply put, brilliant. We don't know what is troubling him or how it's connected to Raghav but whatever it is, Cabir isn't the only one troubled. Raghav is equally feeling the same thing but he just covers it up better. Dhruv's smile while singing and the girls' complete concentration on their instruments...like I said, standard hi alag tha performance ka!
That Look
I cannot tell you how powerful the look was that Manik shared with Nadu. He let his guards down, allowed her to glimpse the real him and his real emotions for her. The hand continued to nurse her brother while the words conveyed the unsaid. Their relationship is also very complicated, yet there is trust now. Nandu's eyes were not just filled with worry or gratitude rather they help an acknowledgment and adoration for her Manik. I cannot get the look out of my head. That was so powerful. So bloody powerful. I admire the actors who can say the unsaid with just their eyes..Niti and Parth do that. They own their characters. They bare all their emotions for us to see. They didn't say anything, they didn't move. They were still and all they did was look at each other and we felt every single thing they were feeling. This look is one HUGE moment for Manik and Nandini's relationship. This can be the base of all that's to come. This one look..it can't be forgotten. Like the storeroom made him calm down his tone with her and made her stand up to him, this look will make her look at him in a new light. I'm not saying they still won't fight but that indifference she had in her words..that won't be there. At least I hope it isn't.
Result
Disappointing but well atleast it wasn't an outright defeat. I feel they did well given the circumstances. NH3 have to click somewhere or else the story won't have progressed. But while fab5 stood united and together, even in victory NH3 were individuals and separate. Yes. But this was all a setup stage. Real battle is Musicana. Fab5 are the defending champions. I want them to get this victory again, fair and square.
Navya-Harshad
Was it just me but Harshad was about to kiss her as well? IS he feeding her breadcrumbs now ? But Navya is really the only underwhelming character now. I skipped their part. That part seemed so out of touch with the whole feel of the episode.
Chachi
I need to hug her, she is rockstar. Tera Manik, she sensed his feelings and care for her. And thank God she voiced it. Nandu's refusal wasn't of annoyance , somewhere her no was of realization to, perhaps not of feelings but the existence of "their" thing is dawning on her. He is Manik in every sense of the word. What does Manik mean? I am not Hindi so I dunno. But I wanna know. It felt like such a powerful thing to say. Nandini is not strongly denying their connection. She simply stated that he isn't hers. But yeah..Chachi is a rockstar. There is no past baggage attached to her judgement of Manik. She's saw him as he was in that moment - a truly precious soul who cares deeply for Nandini.
Fab5
There was no aggression just worry for why Manik was missing. In the whole scene it felt nice how each one of them cares for the band. I am loving Alya too now. Dhruv saved Manik with a lie and a secret. The group hug - Perfection. I teared up a bit. Just when we thought Fab5 were on the verge of breaking, they became strong. How beautiful and unexpected their bond is? In that scene, I realized why Fab5 is so looked up to. They can't just be broken like that...they are so far above such things.
I like how Manik disconnected her calls , he needs space after what she shared and that moment was for fab5 And he didn't want them to know about her. He is consciously keeping these two things apart.
Dhruv-Manik
aww they are together but well now they both know that some secrets are worth keeping for friendships. They both were right and this arrangement gives them the opportunity to explore the other things and emotions. Growing up, eh? Yeah..they are growing up. Some secrets are worth keeping..why do I get the feeling this line is symbolic for them? They will keep their secrets but secrets do come out sooner or later...I am just a bit worried about that moment when they do.
I don't think Manik should tell about what happened to fab5 or even Dhruv. Nandu is still a sore point for them as a group and Rishab's illness. And to top it all , his bursting feelings for her. Awww Manik wouldn't tell them. It's not like Manik to do so. He always tries to keep Nandini and Fab5 apart..he has saved her trouble by keeping quiet in the past as well. He won't say it. What happened was between them only and there it shall remain.
I am just so content , so amazed at this episode .
