I don't think manik tried breaking nandu and dhruv's friendship. Infact he was the one who had said mujhe tum dono k dosti se koi problem nai hai to dhruv. Dhruv himself decided to call it quits.

Dhruv has always been close to Manik..the closest one.. there never has been ego issues b/w them.. When Dhruv misunderstood and punched Manik for the same..Manik was angry & hurt but he cared & loved Dhruv too much to let his ego come his way.. You shouldn't forget that Manik was also possessive when it came to Dhruv.. He did not like Dhruv being friends with his enemy.. Is it so hard to understand? It's not about permission..
And this time Manik is second time hurt.. Dhruv was not wrong in his stand but Manik isn't wrong either. He is so hurt this time..he is actually treating Dhruv like a friend and venting the frustrations on him..
Why would he stop Dhruv from breaking his friendship with Nandu? kehne ki baat hai but jisko action lena hota hai..wo decide nhi kar paata kya karna hai.. n here there are more than one reasons..
