Granted, I only watch the show for Parth Samthaan, as someone who is well out of these kinds of schooling situations, I couldn't care less about the plot.
Personally, I think its an attempt for MTV to be so out of the box that the show is actually outrageous.
The thing about that plot that does however bother me that the youth who are still in school sees this. Okay MTV is trying to depict the true youth by not fooling us into thinking that kissing is so absurd by showing it in two episodes. Good job there, we get an idea of how much MTV is trying to differentiate themselves from the norm of Indian fiction series.
However, they take it too much to an extreme by showing all this bullying. Bullying exists, yes. It needs to stop- yes again. Does this show do anything to support that cause? No. And that's where it's a problem for me. Instead, this show supports bullying. By showing a man who ruthlessly eggs, throws water on, feeds crap to someone who defied him. As well as showing that same girl just as easily obeying with her eyes shut. What is being shown to the youth is that bullying is okay to engage in, and one must silently accept it as their fate. Excuse me MTV, I am not sure where you got that idea from.
