Hello Yaariyans,
I have written many FFs before but never tried an OS. So technically this is my first OS ever in IF and KY2 forum. Please forgive me if it turns to bad 😆 as I am writing something after a long time. For your information it is a MaNan OS. Please avoid my grammatical and spelling mistakes😆
OS- Main Karu Intezar Tera
Nandini sitting outside the old homage where she just gave her first performance along with one of the Fab 5 members. The one who made her initial days of college a living hell The one who she punched in the face to return the favor. Now she ended up performing with that bad guy, Manik.
"Is he really that rough and offensive?" thought Nandini while Manik interrupted her.
"Where are you lost?" said Manik sitting beisde her.
Nandini hesitated. She was shocked to see Manik behaving so casually. Performing together was a part of their work and profession but now why is he behaving like this?
Manik interrupting her thoughts again, "Well you gave a nice performance. You sing pretty well. It was our first tuning together which eventually turned out good".
"Thanks. You too played the guitar nicely", replied Nandini and stood up to leave.
"I think I should leave now" she said while walking towards the exit not giving him a chance to speak. Manik ran behind her and stopped in front of her
"Hey let me drop you what say?" he said.
Shocked once again but she knew that dropping her might be just another plan of his revenge.
"No it's ok I'll manage" refused Nandini.
"Oh come on, we just performed together and get bonded. Plus it's friendship day, she can make new friends and trust on them" he explained.
Friends? With Fab 5? With the arrogant Manik? No way, thought Nandini and continued her walk without replying.
"Okay fine, for the sake of friendship day one last chance toh banta hai?" said Manik whom she left behind.
"Please?" he pleaded.
She was surprised on the fact that Manik pleading to her. With that thought she accepted his offer and went on with him.
Manik and Nandini are in the car. Nandini did not like the high volume music so reached towards the player simultaneously Manik too reached to turn off the music. She shivered from his touch. He apologized and turned off the music. She stared at him with confusion. Confused about his real intentions. Why is he being sweet and friendly with her after that punch incident? Is he planning something secretly? Or he realized his mistakes and is trying to rectify those?
She started to think positively about him just then she noticed that they crossed the college.
"hey college toh piche par gayi she reminded him.
"piche par nahin gayi, chod diya" he said mockingly.
She is shocked and regretted her decision of accepting his offer for a drive. She is trapped now. Nervously she closed her eyes and started praying silently. He looked at her and mesmerized by her innocent face she makes when she is nervous.
"Wow, how can I take revenge from her if she looks that adorable?" he thought being mesmerized by her beautiful face.
After a few minutes, he applied break. She opened her eyes and saw that they are only two buildings away from her house.
"sorry tumhare ghar ke exact samne nahin dop ki, kya pata shayad tumhare family wale ye sochle ke main tumhara boyfriend hoon? Remember they said that we look like made-for-each-other?" he flirted.
"Nnaahin iit's ok main chali jaungi" she stammered.
She got out of the car closed the door and bent down to face Manik.
"Thank you. Kuch waqt ke liye mujhe laaga ke tum..." she paused.
"Ke main kabhi nahi sudhrunga?" he completed her sentence.
"Bye" she said and moving towards her house.
Manik got out of the car and called out her name "Nandini."
She stopped and turned around, "Haan?"
"I was thinking kyun na hum ek nayi shuruwat kare?" he said coming towards her.
"Nayi shuruwat?" asked Nandini.
"Dosti ki? I mean whatever I did to you, you paid me back so score equal and plus it's friendship day why not make new friends?" Manik proposed giving his hands out for her.
"Dosti aur tumse? Well we just met. Our initial meetings were a bit disastrous. I guess we need to know each other more" replied Nandini
"Well, then I will wait for you till you change your decision" said Manik.
"Thanks for understanding" she said.
Both smiled at each other. She started walking towards her home. Manik watched her till she gets out of his vision. He was confounded when he realized that he was actually waiting for her to turn around on her way. He gazed at her expecting her to turn around.
She reached her house and stopped at the entrance. Unknowingly she turned around to look for Manik. She wanted to see if he is still there. Turned around and saw him standing there looking at her.
He felt exhilarated when she finally turned around.
Manik and Nandini both smiled at each other.
P.S : I wanted to write this OS since two days but things were against me. Browser crashed then PC crashed but couldn't crash my love for MaNan.😳😆
