Hey there,
I put on a cuppa over the weekend, gathered all the KYPH episodes since 5th September to catch up with the show, and found that I got itchy after the first two because I wasn't writing up what I thought about it for this forum! So for the sake of my sanity, more than for your interests, here goes lots and lots of words.

6Sep, "Angad, you think too much!"
Josh and AK are rapidly becoming _the_ pair to watch on KYPH. :-) Seriously. This is the episode where AK finds himself heartbroken at the thought of KS speeding her way onto marriage with Fringe Gnome Prithvi at the end of a perfect Tabela evening; In a beautifully executed buddy-comic scene, AK discovers that Josh is merciless when it comes to making "plans" to get AK&KS together; because even after AK gives Josh his "stern eye" at Josh's meddling and setting up Tabela evening, Josh is back in the game, throwing a party which AK finds himself attending obediently; where in an effort to get AK costume-coordinated with KS, Josh also gets AK and FGPrithvi dressed alike!; where Alliyah and Mishty pull Airhead Anitah's leg, Josh flirts with Mishty, Mother Bose tries to put emotional pressure on KS and earns the "stern eye" of AK, in return; Josh gets mad because after winning KS in a dance game, AK spoils yet-another-Josh-plan and hands her to FGPrithvi; and in a misguided attempt to get Prithvi out of AK&KS' life, Josh ends up delivering his "please, please, please get out of their lives and leave them to sort out their affairs" speech to AK instead. The episode ends with the end of the speech in a dark corridor, with Josh speechless - for once! - at one end, and a stern looking AK at the other end.
The things to remember in this episode are the Josh-AK scenes -- all of them! -- particularly the one where AK is giving Josh "the stern eye" at the party after they discover that FGPrithvi and he are dressed alike. AK begins to ask Josh "Is this all your doing?" when Josh gets exasperated: "Angad! You think too much!" :-) Josh is a Honey... and AK's "stern eye" rocks!

Josh and AK (as well as the cinematographer) rock together again in the first scene: AK has an incredibly moving rejoinder to Josh's attempt to get Prithvi out of KS' life -- he would do anything to get KS back if he had a hope in hell that she would live happily with him, but all she would feel is guilt for leaving Prithvi, and he'd rather have her happy and living with Prithvi than guilty and living with him. Josh doesn't buy the argument but bows his head to AK's conviction. FGPrithvi gifts KS a flat _and_ her family's presence for the wedding; KS' mom is terrifyingly glad about the oncoming nuptials -- the amount of teeth she bared in her joy had me wanting to call Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Why do KYPH moms consistently make me want to do this??! FGPrithvi and KS want to give Daadi a wedding card in a mirror situation to AK bringing his card to her a long time ago, but her reaction is completely different -- she gives them her blessings which hurts AK more than KS's wedding card does; Mother Bose wants to get rid of KS and vows NOT to use useless scum like The Thug; instead she decides to poison sweets for KS, but at the last moment, develops something quite alien to her character -- COLD feet! That was VERY weird. Mishty goes in and out of this sequence looking lovely and innocent.
The things to remember in this episode is that first Josh-AK scene. Besides the lovely lines (which are delivered just a wee-bit too dramatically by MIKhan), it had Great lighting on both their faces. But it's nice to see how AK still knows his KS so very well. There was also a flashback to the sweetest AK-wanting-a-child scene of yesteryears juxtaposed with an ugh-scene of FGPrithvi planning kids with KS. I can't exactly explain why, but .. ugh. :-(
8Sep, swashbuckling Angad in Kripa's dreams
Mother Bose truly breaks into a sweat after having fed KS with (what she thinks are) poisoned sweets; after a glass of water, KS is fine, but Mother Bose is still sweaty; Mishty follows her mother when she goes out of the room and blasts her - but for her stupidity in having tried to poison KS in public! Mishty suddenly becomes full of shades of grey - I now believe that she can have the brains _and_ the nerves _and_ the motivation to "fix" the KS problem; evil KS mom might actually just be brainless KS mom, who after one more heart-to-heart with her daughter is suddenly open to the idea that perhaps forcing KS to get married to FGPrithvi may not be the way for KS to be happy forever; if she had any inkling of KS' dreams, then she would have become sure, because KS is dreaming up an AK who is bold enough to call her bluff on her not loving him, and who brings up the fact that she already got married to him when she accepted his having put sindoor on her forehead; oh boy, does KS want to get rescued by AK or what! But our boy is satisfied with mooning over a photograph of KS, to the extent of chasing it when the wind blows it out of his hands, or rescuing it when Josh tries to burn it; Josh has a point: you have so much care for a photograph and none at all for the real thing!; Josh is frustrated and upset because our boy is a puzzle today - he's not too lethargic to spy on KS getting ready for her wedding; nor too lethargic to walk in to watch the ceremony being conducted to join the bride and the groom in glorious matrimony. However, he seems to have a severe inferiority complex when it comes to actually grabbing her hand and walking out with her. Why is AK not guessing that KS actually wants him to rescue her? Why? :-/
Terrible editing today, BTW: there's a shot of a hand that puts sindoor on a forehead, but it's _not_ AK's sensitive fingers, nor does it look like little KS' forehead! What's with the editors/director today??! Also, MIKhan seems to have seriously bought into the story that his voice is his greatest asset -- he's beginning to deliver lines as if he were in a soap. I do hope he realises soon that it is the clarity and honesty of his delivery, rather than just the timber and cadence of his voice that rocks. :-(
