How about this…

It's a rainy night…..Kripa's mendhi ki rasim…there's dancing, singing, general fun to be had. The usual suspects are all there, Damini, Mishty, Kripa's mom …all of them getting the last minute details into place.

Kripa is left alone for a few minutes and is relieved to be rid of the faade of happiness even if it's for a short while. She goes to her room, and as usual when she has a moment to think her thoughts revert to Angad…She has tears in her eyes but is still determined to go through with her marriage with Prithvi.

There's a knock on her door…its Aaliyah with a package in her hand…she gives it to Kripa saying it was delivered by Josh.

She opens it and finds a video tape, no note…no explaination.

Anxious to see what it is she locks the room door and starts watching the tape. Its blank for a few seconds and then she sees Angad sitting on a chair in Daadi's foyer…she is shocked, all the while her eyes are devouring his image .

He then starts talking:

"Kripa, you came into my life when I never believe in love, never had faith in the power of love, you saw me for who I really was and accepted me for that, you fought with me, you laughed with me, you loved me despite everything.

It was my mistakes, mistrust that separated us and for that I will suffer the rest of my life. You're moving on with your life, marrying one who loves you and will give you all the happiness you rightfully deserve…It's my cruel fate that I'm not that person.

We might not be together, but I'm glad that I had the opportunity to have you in my life, I'm glad all the misunderstandings have been cleared, so that I have a clean conscience once again.

I'm not trying to hurt you by doing this...I just want to tell you that you showed me what love is, you thought me that I can be a real person, that people will accept me for who I am, not only what I am…you brought sunshine into my existence…and for that I want to thank you.

I will carry the memories of our time together with me always, I don't know where we'll land up or what I'll be doing in the future, but no matter where I am or what I'm doing…I will always love you, you will always be in my heart.

I hope you are happy with Prithvi…please try and move on as you deserve, I am and will always be your well wisher.

Seeing this, Kripa breaks down, unable to handle it any more…thinking to herself…U love me so much?? Why do you love me so much that just my happiness is yours, even if it means me marrying another man.


Angad is sitting and drowning his sorrows in Josh's hotel room…trying to convince himself not to go and stop the wedding when he hears: "R u really gonna let me go…aren't you going to fight for me…why…why…please say something" and looking up in shock he sees Kripa standing there. He shakes his head as if to clear her image but she is still there.


Angad tells her that your happiness is my happiness so why should I stop you from marrying Prithvi…Kripa: Because I'm not happy Angad…I will never be happy until I'm forever in your arms…you are my heart, my breath, my love, my life…I'm sorry for not realizing it sooner and like Wednesday she runs into his arms to be carried off into the sunset.


I feel that A-K reunion should be a private thing, that's why I left it in Josh's room
