The last scene absolutely rocked.... like someone said ...... the forum has gone ballistic today over that hug!!!!!!! what a bunch of committed loveatics we all are...
Angad Rocked in all his scenes ( although I so detested his superman T-shirt - for the scene he should have been back in his white banyaan!! He sizzles in it like few men can) .... Kripa Rocked and looked surreal at the same time .... I thought that she looked her prettiest y/day .... excellent m/up ( although I think that she is in luv with that silver pair of (yuckky)earrings ...... she supports them in every second episode these days ....what's with that???)
Anyhow, To me, the last scene depicted the hopelessness of their situation .....their souls remain connected even as they are torn apart by worldly forces.....hmmmmm .... the idea was rocked , yep, but nits , it was hardly novel.... Ekta did a similar thing when Praerna from Kasauti came to say her final goodbye to Anurag before she wedded Bajaj.... they did this soul merge/body separation thing with that pair as well (that rocked too) .... though must say that this doesnt LESSEN the poignancy or the beauty of KYPH's scene ..... IT ROCKED ROCKED ROCKED & then some.... the pair just SIZZLE together....
But there were some other things that bothered me abt last nite's epi.
Isn't it funny how:
1)Kripa pulled a total volte face y/day? She told dadi & josh not to reveal to angad that she knew abt his sacrifices and yet she spilled all the beans at the drop of a hat y/day??? why make all those teary claims if u wont stand by them????
2) She sounded concerned for his family & what they must be going thru at Angad's absence & yet .... she was not quite as forgiving towards Angad ... even after the purgatory he has put himself thru .... (Gurl how much atoning do you need anyway???)
3)last but not the least ..... she keeps on switching the ring b/w her left & right hand .... petty detail perhaps .... But its irritating .... a betrothal is a serious thing.. u wear the ring ... u wear the bond .... u wear the committment .... u don't juggle it from one hand to the other like its a mere trinket (Zonk me on the head if u think I m being too melodramatic!!! But this is what I felt when Krips merrily lost her lucky bracelet & boxed away her 'angad-gifted locket'to Saint prithvi... I feel u take care of such things)..... a ring symbolises something precious and that is why we put so much importance to such things... somehow... Ekta mai has TRIVIALISED the ring by this juggling....hmmm didnt like that....
Plus, dont call me a party pooper for saying this last bit: Even though the last scene was beautiful, it could have been executed a little better: At one point, I could actually tell Kripa was standing on a stool/patiya as she was leaning into Angad when he was hugging her (I mean when they showed the sihouettes of A-K hugging at the end).... it was obvious that she was perched and leaning into him.... 😕 so it kinda made me go hmmmmm..... Ekta coulda done this better .....
BUT BUT BUT ..... the expressions of IQ and Neha ROCKED all the way... and I am def going to add this scene to my list of all time fav scenes !!!! Atleast my hope graph went up a notch after last nite .... Wat say Nits???
