A rough character analysis of the three main characters on KYPH as they have shaped up till date, just see the difference in the character evolution of all the three, it is only Prithvi who has managed to remain the sore loser that he was alwaysš
Angad - The Poor, The Pathetic and the Pitiable
He is the cutest punching bag that God could have ever made. Gets knocked out by a shrewish and ambitious Mother, a pathetic spineless Father, a machivillean Brother, a cunning cousin, a wishy-washy, slapping machine of a girlfriend, a maternal turned murderous grandma, a jealous Gnarly Gnome.........the list is endless. And our Bonny Boy puts up with everything, swallows every humiliation, drinks every tear! For what? A girl who cannot decide what she wants in life....the man she claims to love, a career as a rockstar which she never wanted or getting married to a man whom she doesn't love one bit! Angad, please put a stop to this nice-boy act once and for all....believe me nice girls like bad boys.......we used to love you when you sneered, snarled and stared at Kripa and behaved in a boorish, burly manner.......it was infinitely better than seeing you make Calf-eyes and looking ready to burst out into tears any moment. Get a spine, man and get it quick!
Gnarly Gnome alias Prithvi - The Bewildered, The Bemused and The Befuddled
The most confused human being in the World, makes you wonder time and again why he exists and becomes a burden on Mother Earth! (Sorry Komal!) First, he wears his heart on his sleeve and falls in love with the first girl he encounters in that stupid Music Academy of his, then he pursues her with ardent devotion, mistaking her indifference to be her love and creating a cartload of confusion for everyone around! Then he plays the sacrificing game and lets go of his lady love (not that she was ever his in the first place, but anyway) but promptly reappears when she is suitably impregnated by the big-bad wolf and galantly offers to become Papa dearest for the unborn child. All ends well in his favour, when our lady finally consents to marry him, though making it amply clear that she does not love him and the probability of loving him in the future is also too bleak....but our hero is the eternal good guy, who will do anything to protect his woman's honour, even if it means taking the spoils of the war! He claims to be just a ''Good Friend'' but does not shy away from proposing to Kripa atleast thrice (on the last count) and being rejected everytime. He is seen to be the ideal son, who walks out of his Mother when she needs him most, for a woman who does not even claim to love him, he is potrayed to be a loving brother, who lamblasts and humiliates his sister at any given oppourtunity. Prithvi's only loyalty is to his heart, which he has rented out to Kripa for life without bothering to get any deposit on it!
Kripa - The Crafty, The Cunning and The Clever
Gotta admit to this lady, that she is by far the canniest thing to have hit upon Planet Earth. First, she gets the man she wants, then she becomes the poor, lonely, victimized soul and gets the support of all around her, then she realizes her ambition as a rockstar, then she gets everything that was once Angad's, fame, money, power and glamour and finally a faithful lapdog as a beau! The lady has definitely played her cards well.....girls, you gotta learn something from Kripa here, how to ensnare and trap a man and how to keep one handy just in case the original one doesn't work out in your favour!
Okee, I had nothing much to contribute today, hence this out of the blue post! Hope you guys aren't overtly offended or anything, since I have criticized all the three main characters! Do not worry, I will think something nice about all of them and come back with a sugary-sweet post!
Cheers,
Chilly
