Hi Guys,
I hope you don't mind me posting my views for the whole week in one post...no other chance to do it... here's my humble take on this weeks episodes.
Monday: Josh took a huge step to mending my broken heart from last week…I love Him!!! As for Kripa, she seems to passing out slaps like candy… and Angad accepts every one of them without a fight. Sheesh, her hands must be stinging from all the slaps…hee hee
Josh: After Angad walked away, I thought Josh was gonna give Kripa one slap as good as Angad got, he seemed upset enough to do just that. Angad is lucky to have a friend like Josh, one who feels the guys pain as if it were his own, he looked as if he were the one getting slapped by Kripa, and he was hurting seeing his friend in that state. He had finally had enough of seeing his friend suffering. I could have kissed Josh today…the man made my day by finally telling Kripa the truth…And it was about time as well!! For a man who was so angry, he had great self control…not loosing it by screaming at Kripa. He seemed very impassioned about the whole situation. I loved the lines he spoke about lovers (unfortunately I can't remember it right now)
Kripa: Such a major event like the London bomb blasts and she didn't know…come on, doesn't she read the papers, listen to the radio, watch television???
Kripa's expressions when she was finally told the truth was just amazing…the lone tear rolling down her shocked face as she heard what Josh was telling her…no overly dramatic crying, no funny facial expressions…just shock and regret while she thought of all the events that led to her success and of what Angad must have gone through with his family.
I loved how she immediately forgot everything and was desperate to try and save Angad (ironically, she was trying to save him from something that he was willing to accept for her sake). She put up a good fight when Prithvi was dragging her out of the hall, she looked helpless when she couldn't free herself to go and save Angad. She seemed totally shattered when Prithvi was telling her that Angad was finally finished (all the while Josh's words on how much Angad loved her was ringing in her ears)
Angad: Looking as sexy as usual. Our modern day Devdas was clearly confused about his lady love's ranting and definitely didn't see that slap coming…when he stopped Josh I thought here we go again…how much more and for how much longer is he gonna take all her slaps and insults?? Then I remembered that he had lost the will to live and I really felt for him. The look in his eyes as he just stood on the stage bleeding, just staring at Kripa ( To me it seemed as if he was looking straight at her), tugged at my slightly mended heart, which had broke last week.
Prithvi:….Did he have to interfere?? (When I wanted him to interfere, when Kripa was phoning him, he didn't hear his phone, I could be wrong but as Mishty was talking to Aaliyah the camera focused on him for a second & I'm sure I saw him smiling). I understand that he was concerned about Kripa's safety but I so badly wanted her to reach Angad.
It would have been interesting to see what would have happened if Kripa had reached the stage…she would have leapt into Angad's arms in order to protect him, and he would have tried to keep her off the stage for her own protection.
Kripa seemed shattered when Prithvi told her that Angad was finished, and that they didn't have to worry about him anymore.
Angad & Kripa have one thing in common when it comes to finding out the truth….Check this out:
When Angad found out the truth, he didn't think of what his family did…he thought of what he did and said to Kripa, and how she just took everything without responding. He thought of the one time when she came to speak to him and how he kicked her out.
When Kripa found out the truth, she thought of everything he did to save her and how she reacted to that, she though of all the things she said and of how she slapped him, and how he took everything she dished out without retaliating. She thought of the times he tried to speak to her, at Josh's party and in the hotel and how she snubbed him.
As Nitu said, These two truly belong together!!
Tuesday: Ughhh!!!!! I was pulling out my hair today…have the KYPH writers lost their senses (not that they had much to begin with). After a good start to the week, in which we all had our hopes up, she hits us with this drivel. What a waste of my precious 30 minutes. I wish I had the ability to travel back in time and erase the entire episode from my mind. Anyways, here's my take on this irritating episode.
Kripa: She was one of the better things in yesterdays episode (not that there was much to choose from). Clearly distressed about what was revealed yesterday, I thought it really sweet that she had no regard for time of day or what the consequences would be, she just wanted to see if Angad was o.k. after the concert. I love her concern for him now that she knows the truth. She walked into the Khanna house as if she owned it… oh yeah… she does!! Which is something that Naina & Karthik clearly forgot, and it seems as if Kripa herself forgot that tit bit of info, as she never stood up to tell Karthik exactly that when he threw her out of the house…am straying here, lets get back on track…She has grown in confidence, as we saw when she stood up to Naina.
Naina screaming how dare you come here, and after everything you've done you expect Angad to still be here, and Kripa hitting back with: I don't know how you're gonna get through this, with the burden of what you have done to your son sitting on your shoulders (something to that extent)…BRAVO, KRIPA!!! And her shock and disgust when Karthik admitted that he threw Angad out…why was she shocked? After everything she's learned she should know by now that this man is capable of anything. Kripa is now going through the same thing that Angad went through when he found out the truth. Their various encounters playing in her mind, the words she spoke, him trying to explain, her rejecting anything he had to say… the tables sure have turned…this, along with the kidnapper chasing her deep into the forest…no wonder she fainted (stressed out as she is).
Her waking up while screaming Angad's name (after dreaming about him)… same as when Angad woke screaming Kripa's name at Mishty's house (after dreaming of her), these two truly belong together, they are even tormented in the same way… hee hee.
Daadi:….oh what can I say about this lady, she clearly lost her mind. Starts off by wanting to know what Angad had done or said to Kripa this time…for her, a justified question at the time as she didn't know better….then when Kripa breaks down and spills everything…she is clearly remorseful….saying how they made a big mistake and how they did him an injustice by not even trying to listen to him when he was trying to explain…and Kripa saying that she did the biggest injustice of them both because Angad smiled and pretended to be happy throughout everything she said and did, so that she could be happy. (I really felt for her when I saw how she broke)…I was cheering daadi at this point thinking she will do something but those cheers turned to jeers in the next instant…when she started sprouting that garbage about how she should tell Prithvi everything before their relationship carries on, as it was lies, and miscommunication that ruined her relationship with Angad, she doesn't want the same to happen with Kripa and Prithvi's beautiful relationship!!!
Beautiful relationship...MY FOOT!!! Like I said on Tues, this coming from a lady who a few days back told Angad that she was unhappy as she wanted the mendhi on Kripa's hand to be for Angad and Kripa's marriage, not Kripa's marriage to someone else… So where in heaven did Kripa & Prithvi's "Beautiful relationship" come from? As for the line about how she & Kripa made a mistake by not listening to Angad, but Angad wasn't any less responsible for what happened because he let outsiders break they relationship… I agree that Angad is not the innocent party in this whole debacle, but for her to say that they might not get back what they had had ( I apologize if I got the dialog wrong because I'm not sure that's what she said exactly because I was fuming at her at this point).
Angad wasn't in the episode…total bummer! (Know Iqbal was in hospital…but KYPH doesn't seem the same without him in it)
As for Karthik, I don't want to waste my time & energy on him!!
Ekta's logic???...1) o.k. I don't know much about Mumbai but if the Khanna's house is in the middle of the city, where did a dense forest come from and that with a snake slithering around (no…not talking about Prithvi or Karthik but the actual snake I saw in the trees)…surely, Kripa didn't walk so far as to leave the city!!
2) Prithvi finding her (with cops at hand) …and that without running into across the kidnapper who was stumbling around the forest after Kripa!!
Yikes… come on, Ekta….oh I forgot, Ekta's writers have been bodily invaded by some aliens who don't understand these earthly things such as logic…that might explain this ridiculous episode!!!
Wednesday: Have we misjudged Prithvi???
Kripa: Obviously conflicted…first about telling Prithvi the truth, then about what Prithvi said when he removed his ring. I would have loved for Kripa to apologize to Angad face to face, but Josh is now Angad's protective caretaker…finally had enough of the entire situation & is giving his friend the space & privacy he needs to recover & lick his wounds, so to speak. Although, I did prefer the tape to the letter…Kripa's regret and sorrow could be heard on the tape.
Prithvi: This man has taken a big leap in redeeming himself in my books…I seriously felt sorry for him as he was listening to the tape…his dreams crashing down around him once again. I have to admire him for having the strength and character to remove his engagement ring even knowing that there's a possibility that Kripa might go to Angad…It must have been an immensely painful decision realizing that the woman he loves might once again slip through his fingers.
General Comments: Prithvi, being very mature, gives Kripa an out, should she want it, he realizes that she still loves Angad and sets her free, without any obligations…she in the mean time debates with herself about the subject.
Helloooo…is anyone home in that head of hers??? She eats, drinks, sleeps & breathes Angad, yet here's the perfect opportunity and she hesitates. Her big mistake is comparing Prithvi to Angad…not a logical thing to do. Prithvi has been her support system and she has always seen him as her best friend….Angad, once he found out the truth, was the driving force behind her success, he is and will always be the love of her life….her soul mate!
There is a gap between friendship & love, she shouldn't confuse her gratitude towards her friend as love! At the beginning of the episode, she was pondering about the injustice to Prithvi if she goes to Angad, and the injustice to Angad if she stays with Prithvi…Well, she'll be doing a grave injustice to all three of them if she marries Prithvi.
Thurs: This episode left a bitter taste in my mouth (no it's not the meds I'm on)…
Dilip is my hero..hee hee…lets start with him. The man always kept quiet and bowed down to his wife's decisions, but ever since he found out he lost his grandchild, he has regretted keeping quiet…loosing his son was the final straw. Love how he stood up to Naina, telling her that she always thought his silence was his weakness…but If she didn't change her ways…she would loose her husband, telling her to stop blaming others, especially Kripa for the own mistakes. The man has finally had enough!
Kripa: I swear I'm gonna go balled…was pulling my hair out again because of her…What to say…she seems to be totally loosing it …maybe the shock of the past few days have effected her mind. She tells Prithvi that she will stand by him as he stood by her…that she didn't want to desert the man who did so much for her because he loved her more than anything else in the world….LADY, ANGAD DID THE SAME!!! God give me the strength and patience to sit through this child's warped logic. I mean she wants to walk though life with Prithvi by her side and in the next instant she is crying and pleading with Prithvi to please let her see Angad. The first thing she says to Josh is can I see Angad…and looks devastated when he tells her that it's no use. She cries at the thought of him being broken, should he find out that she knows the truth…. Her heart cries for the man, she is so concerned about him yet she decides not to be with him… she can't stand to see him in pain, yet she wants to marry Prithvi…what's more painful to a person then to see the one they love marry and make a life with someone else???
Josh: He is Angad's protector…Angad is emotionally finished (Josh told Aaliyah that Angad wasn't doing too good) and Josh will not stand to see him hurt even more…he has had enough of Kripa…love how he told her: "haven't you done enough already" (something to that extent). The man is clearly tired of all the secrets and doesn't want to be a part of this new one…you can see that all he wants is to clear the air and rectify everything.
Daadi: She want so much to get her old relationship with her "sabse pyaare bacha" back, but because of her promise that's gonna be difficult…she is still suppose to be hating him.
General Comments: Is Mishty sincere??? She seemed more concerned about Kripa going to meet Angad than the fact that Angad was o.k…which is incidentally the reason she came to see her bro. Did she honestly come to talk to her bro…or was she fishing for information about Kripa? Prithvi…he loves Kripa enough that he is "secure" in his relationship with her…he is willing to let her see Angad so that she can put the past behind her…Yeah, Right!! Naina seems to permanently be in tears…but as they say "As you sow, so shall you reap"! She seems to admit her mistakes and she seems to be seriously troubled about Angad having left the house. If she is sincere, than this is the first time she has shown us her love for her son.
Point to note: I don't like Kripa's new voice…it just doesn't feel right to hear this new voice…I sometimes couldn't feel the right emotions coming across through her voice…maybe its just me.
Sorry, I didn't realize that this was gonna be so long…tried to cut it down, but didn't know where to start! 😕If you managed to get through all my rantings…congrats to you! 👏
Luv
