Unfortunately, I agree with you. So let me add evidence to this hypothesis:
* The almost accepted rumour is that Josh dies. (PLEASE DON'T LET JOSH DIE! PLEAAASE!)
* I think that Beetle Browed, Gnarly Gnome Prithvi will be the person whose hand will cause the death.
Why do I say so? Well, consider this:
(Elizabeth puts on her Sherlock Holmes style hat and starts smoking a Sherlock Holmes type pipe and pulls stuff out of the KYPH Forum past posts.)
Recall that a month ago, a member (tania_uk?) posted the description of a promo which had
- Gnarly fuming (with a gun?) and
- there was a shot?
- Kripa shouting "Angad"!!!
- which had come up around the time that the idea was first introduced of Josh's death.
She later said that it was all a hoax. But!!!
My dear forum members, what if it was NOT a hoax, but a totally unintentional slip of the story to the general public, ie, us, which the writers/producers of the show then tried to remove from the memory of the general public, ie, us, by having little Tania_uk put out many retraction posts???
Because if (as things appear to be developing) KS will not go immediately to AK and tell him that she knows that he knows that she kn .. er, you get the gist of this .. IF she doesn't tell him, then she will have to act snooty with him to keep up appearances. She will also have to maintain the same front of "oh-how-I-dislike-AK" with Gnarly.
In the last few episodes, we have all learnt that Gnarly is prone to these WILD LEAPS of insanity when it comes to creating hypotheses, and bursts of emotional violence when it comes to AK. So perhaps, when a particular instance of "oh-how-I-dislike-AK" comes up, Gnarly will do another Volcano act and arrange for a contract killer.
In an earlier posts that I'd written at the time that the "hoax promo" was talked about, I'd said that it was out of the character of Gnarly Gnome to actually kill someone. I still stand by that statement. However...
I now think that he is a cold-hearted businessman who might commit a serious felony if it suits him. I believe such people can hire contract killers to get rid of people. In any case, someone on the show has already once hired a kidnapper (for KS). So maybe that's what happens here: Gnarly/one-of-the-other-Bossy-Boses hires a killer to get AK, but Honey Josh steps in the way and gets killed instead.
If this _does_ happen, it will shatter AK's heart. :-(
He still has one, you know, despite all the battering he has taken. With what else how could he be still loving KS, all this while?
If Josh dies, he will blame himself. If it is shown that BB,GG (as - bleah - life partner/husband of KS) has done it, he will blame himself even more. :-( :-( :-( And he will do what he should've done a earlier - leave the city where KS is, to mend his head and his heart.
(Sherlock takes off the hat, and puts out the pipe, and Elizabeth asks ..)

PS: OH, KYPH WRITERS, please don't KILL Josh. Maim him, hurt him, take him out of the show, but please don't kill him. Make AK leave KS (temporarily, of course) without outright killing him?? PLEEEEEEAAAASE?
