sheen…who think that there is no logic and sanity left in here and that KYPH is not going anywhere should either stop watching KYPH or else take a break from it.
KYPH was always about A-K and rather than their scintillating chemistry, it is their bond that I have always appreciated and that's the only thing that still keeps me loyal to KYPH.
Hey there.
Actually I have no problems with the logic+sanity of AK&KS characters in KYPH. There is love as strong and passionate as this. When your characters are as strong in their convictions as AK&KS, I have no trouble imagining them acting as AK and KS have done. If I were AK and had deliberately wrecked the heart of my dearest love, I would do what AK is doing today. If I were KS and thought that he who was my dearest love had made me lose my unborn child, I would want to hurt him as much as KS wants to hurt AK.
I do have a problem with the way the serial producers and writers are short-changing the show. :-( This is the best thing on Indian TV that I have seen. It has settings that are relatively easy to imagine. It has two main characters who react in very rational ways - if you are in the middle of a True-Love story.
Why then go out of your way to dilute the impact of the show? Why treat it like a step-child? (Karthik, oh how I understand you now!) Treat the show well, even if it means hurtling the show towards its logical conclusion where AK&KS fall into each others arms, weep buckets, get melded into a snuggle and can never ever let go of each other.
I would rather have the show end quickly rather than have my audience dwindle down to a much smaller group because of dragging the damn thing out! I would then spend time and effort on making money by merchandising the show, putting out DVDs, CDs, create new shows with other characters and have AK&KS show up every once in a while as a nice, fat married couple with all of the kids that AK dreamt of.
This is what is sad about KYPH just now, not KS, never AK, not the way all the characters interact with each other. That story still works. But the way that the writers+producers are giving us half a show each day per week. If that is what they want to do, then shift to showing KYPH every second day. But for heaven's sake, I wish they would stop trashing the story and the way it's being told!
