ya you have to be moderator or a viewbie so you have to keep posting to be one and after youe become a moderator or a veiwbie then you can close topic by your self or else you cant 😊

First you have to become a Viewbie. Then you a moderator. So all in all only Viewbies, and moderators can close topics.😊
