I could have posted my opinions abt Nitica's thread in the same thread, but I would like to cover a broader range on that topic.
I totally believe in true love, and I also dont believe in making any compromises in love. I also agree with Nitcia and Dinks that you cannot decide whom you would fall in love with, and its not Angad's fault that he is the way he is.
But what I do definitely look for is strength of character, and most importantly HONESTY in love. Let every man not be Prithvi, kkavya or Piyush. But even when I look at Sujal or Armaan, I notice one common thread, once they DO fall in love, they do not deceive their love. They do anything to get it, that is understandable. But they suffer the most when they fall inlove.
Case in point, Armaan. The whole change in his character was due to his falling in love, which happend very late, but changed him totally.
Someone can brainwash us to the extent of breaking up with the one we love. But marrying someone else on the rebound? How much fallibility is that? And if Angad is fallible enuf to marry Mishti, why cant Kripa marry Prithvi? Mishti doesnt even love Angad yet, Kripa knows how much Prithvi respects her and loves her. Personally, I want Kripa to focus on her career, and forget abt everything else. But Ekta wont do that.
I still would die to see Angad and Kripa together, because there is so much love between them. True love that too. Angad hugging Mishti is not a problem, but marriage is NOT a small step, contrary to what Ekta keeps projecting. And rejecting TRUE love for a marriage which doesnt mean ten cents to him, and he KNOWS it, I expect him to have more integrity than that.
Those who experience true love are amongst the luckiest, but do u believe thats the only thing important? What abt commitment, trust and faith in your loved one?
I usually agree with you nits, but this one has me on a totally different plane than yours. 😊
