In Defense of Mishti Bose. I know that a lot of you feel anti-Mishti and will have more and more reasons to support your cause in the coming days, but my heart still warms for the lovely Ms. Bose and as long as Ekta Maayi doesn't make a complete caricature of her a la Komolika or Mohini, I think Mishti is one hell of a rocking gal!
Some points that I thought would support my defense for Mishti:
Mishti is Damini's daughter and Prithvi's sister – even if she does turn negative, she can never stoop to Naina or Anita's level. With a formidable and dignified Mother like Damini and a fantastic human being like Prithvi for a brother, Mishti has decency flowing in her blood!
Mishti is a very straightforward and clear-cut person. She doesn't mince words and is basically an uncomplicated and upfront person, who will give it hard as it gets, on the face. Mishti is not devious or underhand, hence if she turns against Kripa, she will most probably be open about it and that way Kripa can be better armed!
Damini and Prithvi will never support Mishti incase she decides to turn full blast against Kripa! Damini is way too mature & mellow to get into such things, and Prithvi is too level-headed and too much in love with Kripa, to let Mishti get away with any such thing!
Mishti is attracted to Angad and likes him a lot, but she is not in love with him. Hence, the only reason for her competing with Kripa would be a feeling of competition, and not love. Envy is not such a compelling reason as love is! Hence, Mishti will realize sometime later that it is not worth fighting with Kripa or for that matter anyone else for a guy whom she likes a lot but is not in love with.
Mishti has always supported Kripa and she seems to genuinely like her. Inspite of what happened with Prithvi, whom she loves to death, Mishti though quite upset initially, did forgive Kripa and was back on friendly terms with her! This shows that Mishti is a clear-hearted person who doesn't hold grudges against anyone.
To be a truly evil person, you generally need someone to prompt you and keep fuelign you. There are only two people who can support Mishti in case she decided to take on Kripa, that is Anita and Naina. Mishti hates Anita and vice versa, hence no question of these two ever joining hands, as far as Naina is concerned, as bjkl has told us, Mishti is way too independent a character to actually join hands with someone as dominating and authoritative as Naina. Even if she does, the alliance won't stand for many days!
This is just about the reasons I can conjure up in Mishti's defense. I really hope that she doesn't get into a Komolika mode or something and even if she does turn against Kripa, her enmity should be limited to just ignoring Kripa but not doing any physical harm to her!
