Well he did ask her at the beach " meri aaankhon mein pyar nazar nahin aata kya". And was so considerate when she cried after her parents left indicating he did care for her.

But still flirting with Mishti and secretly meeting her .... Hmm
Makes you wonder- Pyaar kiya to darna kya.

But If the serial has to run a year +, it can't finish with Boy meets girl, falls in love and get married and live happily ever after ..

Especially not in Hindi TV serial land.
