I dont think that Angad is faking it because as we saw earlier he would get really angry and jealouse when he saw kripa with prithvi, he cried when she told him the truth about hating him because of his fake image in public. He drank and cried (alone) when he missed kripa. SO I don't think he's faking it.

If he was faking it then he would have told his mother because she hates Kripa. If he does come out to be faking it then this drama will be just like Kesar: which is also an ekta kapoor serial, copied the story from the movie pardes.
. But then again we can't be so sure because of EKTA KAPOOR.
