Pros:
KYPH brought us all together. I made soooooo many friends because of this show!!
We were introduced to great new talents such as Iqbal Khan, Neha Bamb, and Amit Tandon!!
Great show... good concept!! All the twists and turns keep us hooked
Its youthful.. we can relate to it.. unlike all the other saas bahu shows.
Cons:
Sends out a bad message to society... alcohol, ding dong, multiple marriages, multiple divorces etc etc
The makers think that we are stupid!! (All the bloopers)
A-K break up too often!!
Clothes.. actors (esp. Iqbal) wear the same clothes over and over again.
n the 2nd winner for the 1st topic is:
her entry:
Pros
1. Unique plotline, first of it's kind to be seen on Indian television.
2. Protagonists have wonderful complex roles whose emotions can be
identified with.
3. Chemistry between lead characters is absolutely electrifying. A treat to watch.
4. Acting by the main actors : Iqbal Khan, Neha Bamb, Amit Tandon, Suvarna Jha is mostly flawless.
5. Iqbal Khan. This man is the best thing to have happened to Indian television in a long long time. Never has a TV actor had such an impact on his audience. The sheer electricity he creates on screen is absolutely stupefying to watch. His emotional scenes are right on target. He is the only reason the serial has such varied viewer ship. Absolutely perfect and immaculate performance, every single episode.
Cons
1. At times, plot gets confusing. Characters dialogues make no sense.
2. Characters seem to have no moral values whatsoever at times. Next minute they are seen advocating the fact that their morals are impeccable and never waiver. Hard to believe.
E.g.: Kripa lying to her mother in law about Angad's impotence and then trying to convince Dadi that she did it to save Naina from later emotional pain. The only reason she lied was to get revenge.
3. Characters change their whole temperament in matter of days.
E.g.:a. Alcoholic lawyer Shabbir was fully cured of his alcoholism in matter of minutes after hearing Kripa accuse him of being heartless and "not a human being".
b.Naina, who hated Kripa from the bottom of her heart and blamed her for every misfortune to fall upon the Khanna family suddenly accepted her and loves her like a "daughter" now. How nice. Not!
4. Episodes sometimes lose track of what the current plot. 3-4 days are wasted on "concerts" where we have to watch substandard performances by other actors/singers from the Balaji clan/latest reality show on Sony TV just to fill in time and supposedly enjoy them. Sorry. We don't care. We just care about Angad & Kripa and their life.
5. Huge glaring bloopers that Balaji obviously thinks the viewers are too stupid to notice. Well, if a representative from Balaji ever visits IF, they will realize that they need a better editor for their shows.
E.g.: a. Mikes never used for concerts.
b. The audiences for every concert are the same people wearing the same
clothes standing in the EXACT SAME PLACE as in last concert. WHAT ARE
THE ODDS?!?!
