Now in regards to people thinking Kripa is mahaan, ummm not so much. I dont find Kripa mahaan at all. I just sympathize with her. For the same reason I sympathized with Angad EVEN THOUGH he threw Kripa out on the streets while knowing she was pregnant with his child. Neither character is intentionally nefarious in their actions. They are just the victims of misunderstandings. Kripa and Angad act out very intensely when they are hurt, they dont go around killing people like Prithvi or try to make sure they marry a man that they KNOW loves someone else like Mishty.

Angad and Kripa just cant stop loving each other regardless of all the reasons that are placed before them of why they shouldnt. Their love is the reason I always find myself unable to reprimand Angad and Kripa too greatly for their mistakes.

Dinky didi, you don't like Kripa because you don't like Neha Bamb!!!! And your reasons for disliking Neha are different as well!! 😆 But since you are Iqbal's girlfriend, I suppose it's understandable..

All right Khushi, now I'm going to answer your question of why I support Ms. Kripa Sharma the character, NOT Neha Bamb the real person. Remember, those are two different people: Kripa is fake and Neha is real.

In order to answer your question, I will first list the "bad" things that Kripa has done, and then right underneath it, I will explain why all these things weren't her fault:

1- Kripa broke her engagement with Prithvi.

NOBODY even ASKED her or TOLD her that she was getting engaged to Prithvi. She walks in her house after a serious emotional trauma, AND after getting a hint from her childhood love (Angad) that he loves her back, and what happens? Her mom congratulates her saying "Welcome daughter! You are present at your engagement." Now Kripa KNOWS that she loves Angad and Angad loves her, so why on earth would she go to Prithvi? Why?

2- Kripa refused to understand Angad when he repented his mistakes, and was sacrificing everything for her.

The timing of the events played a major role in this. To make it simple, Kripa would have forgived Angad BEFORE her baby died. But AFTER that, she was just physically and emotionally shattered. Think of it: A 20-year old young lady's love rejects her right when she is pregnant with his baby. She tries to talk to him, he yells at her, she tries to make him understand, he puts wrong allegations on her, and then her baby ends up dying.. After all this has happened, what lady in her right mind would want to listen to this kind of man? Especially when she hasn't been able to forget him, and has no choice but to hate him..

3- Kripa still didn't want to go back to Angad after she found the truth out, and agreed to marry Prithvi.

Now, when Kripa found the truth out, she had already accepted her engagement with Prithvi. The fact that she was trying to uphold her engagement, rather than go running back into Angad's arms right away, shows how GOOD she is. She really attempted to fulfilling her promise with Prithvi.. Her only seemingly wrong part was choosing Prithvi even after Prithvi gave her a choice, BUT that wasn't her fault. I mean come on now, how hard is it to trust a man who impregnated you, dumped you, and killed your baby? Quite hard.. and it was worse for Kripa because she loved Angad so damn much..
Soo it took a while, but she finally realized that she loves Angad waaaaaaaaaay too much to sacrifice it all.. especially when she KNOWS that Angad loves her back, and that everything that happened before was a misunderstanding. Plus, she doesn't love Prithvi so she can't keep him happy anyways.. 😕

4- Kripa broke her engagement with Prithvi the second time.

She loves Angad. She doesn't love Prithvi. What kind of happiness could she give him by marrying him? Yes, she said yes to Prithvi first, but that just shows her difficulty to forget her past. She's human, she has feelings, and some choices are very difficult to make in life.. This was one of them.

5- Kripa sent Angad to jail.

First, Angad leaves Kripa when she's pregnant and puts the wrong allegations on her. She breaks her engagement twice to be with him. And NOW, she finds out that Angad had sex with Simone. Now I want you to realize that Kripa does NOT know the truth. She does NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT NOT know that Angad is innocent. If she had known, wouldn't she have gone back to Angad? If she had known, wouldn't she have saved Angad? Wasn't she the one who spent restless nights getting a lawyer for Angad? It was an infuriated and twice-betrayed woman who stood in the court that night and imprisoned Angad.

6- Kripa married Prithvi right away.

Ok so after breaking her engagement twice to go to a SEEMINGLY distrustful man, shouldn't she settle down? I know that lovers wait for each other. I know that Angad didn't re-marry when Kripa was gone in his life. BUT, Angad KNEW that Kripa still loved him. He KNEW that the circumstances were just too hard to re-unite. On ther other hand, what lover will Kripa be waiting for? Someone who betrayed her twice? Someone who made vows of loving her but slept with another woman? There is NO one to wait for. She had to settle down. Either that, or (in HER mind) ruin her life for a man that doesn't love her, but has betrayed her.

These are my reasons for respecting Kripa. When I stand in her place, I understand why she had such difficulties making the right choice in her life. I don't think she is bad, because as a woman and human being, she is doing what any other woman in her place would do.

Also, this does NOT mean that I do not support Angad. I support BOTH characters, and I realize that both of them are two crazy lovers who are victims of misunderstandings. I know that Angad mistreated Kripa and engaged Mishti because he only misunderstood Kripa. I know that his current revenge is because he feels that Kripa broke his trust, which is another misunderstanding. BUT, Kripa is also a victim of these same misunderstandings. It's just always harder for the woman.. both to prove her innocence and to live happily..

I hope you didn't take any offense from my arguments, and I hope I answered your question. This is purely for debate purposes, and I am not trying to argue. 😃

👏👏👏 Sunita I agree with EVERY SINGLE WORD of your post. I just wanted to add something to your fourth reason stated. Prithvi is the one that ended the engagement with Kripa the second time. He saw she still loved Angad and was willing to die for him, thus he concluded that he shouldnt come in between them. Kripa was scared of getting her heart broken again and of hurting Prithvi after he had supported her through so much, THAT is why she was finding it so difficult to go back to Angad.
