Love Defined

What is love, but an emotion,
So strong and so pure,
That nurtured and shared with another
All tests it will endure?

What is love, but a force
To bring the mighty low,
With the strength to shame the mountains
And halt time's ceaseless flow?

What is love, but a triumph,
A glorious goal attained,
The union of two souls, two hearts
A bond the angels have ordained?

What is love, but a champion,
To cast the tyrant from his throne,
And raise the flag of truth and peace,
And fear of death o'erthrow?

What is love, but a beacon,
To guide the wayward heart,
A blazing light upon the shoals
That dash cherished dreams apart?

And what is love, but forever,
Eternal and sincere,
A flame that through wax and wane
Will outlive life's brief years?

So I'll tell it on the mountaintops,
In all places high and low,
That love for you is my reason to be,
And will never break or bow

In short, Angad and Kripa exist, because of each other, they enigmite because their in front of each other, they hurt because they hurt each other, they smile because honey melts their hearts, and they live cuz the other is alive.

Brilliantly written👏-- love is defined so simply, yet it is undefined for it's everything! Personally love poems and the depths of your words are simply wonderful sweetie👏!!! The heart which doesn't recognize the power of love is still unaware that it highlights our lives in unimaginable and incredible ways.

Let's take Zaib for example—his love went away from him, yet he came close to her once again in the name of revenge. He makes her heart-wrench by seducing other girls especially Mishty, yet his heart enquires her absence. She scorns his intrusion in her and Mishty's life, yet secretly is happy to know that Angad is still alive. She feigns to hate Angad, but her heart struggles to let go off his memories. Zaib claims to suddenly "love" Mishty, yet asks about Kripa's whereabouts.

These two are chasing each other around the bush of love—they know the essence of the flower, yet when pricked with thorns they throw it away for the hurt of few moments was unbearable to their thoughts. They might have forgotten the aroma of happiness and the scent of care the flower originally bought, but the fragrance will soon spread in the garden of their hearts 😉!

I agree completely!😛 I feel the same about your writing, the depth and the transition it takes in symbollic words, is simply awesome! Zeb talks to Mishty, but his eyes do wander off to Kripa. He can seduce every girl, to make kripa's heart burn, with his own heart flaming. Kripa, denies any love binds with Angad, but her mind, heart and soul, yearns for Angad. Yes, they are coming closer even in the phase of hatred in their love!
