Rishi Garewal- 21 yrs old… He studies at NYU…its his 2^nd yr…is doing his MBA…his dad wants him to come back to India and take over their family business after his MBA…but he wants to be a fashion photographer…so he just keeps on saying I have to study more…he works part time at a restaurant to get money for his extra courses of photography…which his family doesn't know abt…he lives with his roommate in an apartment off-campus…he is a caring person…he is single and ready to mingle…LOL…his GF changes practically everyday…doesn't believe in LOVE…he thinks having a relationships is a lot of RESPONSIBILITY….so he avoids them…

Alicia Sexana: 19 yrs old…youngest in her family…She was born in USA…lived her own life in L.A…now she is going to NY to study in NYU…she is pretty excited because she is going to live on her own now…she has gotten an apartment off-campus with a roommate…whose ad she saw in the NY Times…she is sad because her parents are not going to be there…wants to be an actress or a fashion magazine editor…She has never had a serious relationship & doesn't want one…Is afraid of COMMITMENT…she flirts with guys and hang out wid them but never crosses her limits….She is kind a against men…she thinks they rule the society and hv too much power…which she wants…Can be called a FEMINIST…

Sonya Mehra: 20 yrs old…independent girl…studies at NYU…has modeled for a couple of magazines and has done a few commercials…focuses most of her time on her make-up & physical experience…is going to be Alicia's roommate…wants to be an actress…

Jay Singh: 21 yrs old…Rishi's roommate…really lazy…barely ever pays the money for the rent…he is a pizza delivery guy…always go to the wrong deliveries places…a Punjabi dude…

Rahul Khanna: 22 yrs old…Sonya's BF…they hv been dating since their senior yr of high school…they had a fight so they r on a break…he is studying to be an architect… loves Sonya…but they fight over petty things…

Sameer: 23 yrs old…senior yr at NYU…studying to become a lawyer…belongs from a well known Indian family in NY…the hottest young rich bachelor NRI of NY at this moment…he is pretty conservative…believes in true love…and thinks love happens only ONCE in a lifetime…

Sonya & Rishi are neighbors…there apartments are across the hall from each other…

More characters will be introduced as the story goes on…

There is a middle-age woman crying…she says: Beta…take care of yourself…Eat ur food on the right time…don't stay up too late…and call me everyday….

The woman is wearing a blue colored sari…with silver embroidery …and has pink lipstick on it…

The girl is like Mom…plz I'll be fi9…stop crying everyone is looking at us…

The girl is wearing cute red tank top, with a black jacket, light blue faded jeans…her amber-brown colored shoulder length hair are open…she has an ivory complexion and big brown almond shaped eyes…

Mom: I don't care wht other people think because I love u a lot beta…and this the first time Ur going alone...and away from us… OMG my baby is growing up…I will miss u a lot…and starts crying even harder

The girl: Mom it is ok…I'm gonna miss u too…plz stop crying or even I will start crying…

Mom: I love u a lot…

Girl: I love u too…

They both hug and are crying…

A voice says: When will this family drama end I hv a date to got too…

The girl says: Josh…wht r u saying? I am leaving and u only care abt ur stupid date…

(Josh played by the guy who plays Josh in KYPH...dun knw his name)

Josh: yeah so…

Girl: So u won't miss me?

Josh: All I know is that I am actually happy ur going…I'm gonna hv the whole house to myself…

The girl: REALLY???

Josh: yes…

The girl makes a sad face…and asks: you're not even gonna miss me a little bit…

Josh: No

Even more tears start to well up in the girl's eye's

Josh: I'm just kidding…I m gonna miss my little baby sis…Alicia

Alicia: I'll miss ya too…

Josh: Don't cry now…ur make-up will get ruined…and everyone will see the BHOOT hidden by the make-up…

Alicia: bhaiya…
Punches the guy playfully on his shoulder

Josh smiling mischievously: trying to lighten the mood yaar…

Someone says: I just confirmed Ur seat Alicia

Alicia looks toward him…We see a middle-aged guy wearing glasses and a black suit….

Alicia: Thanks dad…

The dad gives her the tickets…

Dad: Take care of yourself…

Alicia: I will and hugs him too…

Then an announcement is made "Passengers on Flight no 326...Going to NY from L.A is boarding…plz cum to Gate 12"

Alicia: I have to go now…I'll call u as soon as I reach…

Everyone: Bye…Take care

She gets her luggage and starts moving it and goes toward the gate…she turns behind and looks at her family…waves to them…and turns back and leaves…

She enters the airplane…the airhostess says: 12 A right that way maam

Alicia: thnx a lot

She goes to her seat and sees a guy is sitting on the seat next to hers…He is reading a magazine so u can't see his face…

She opens the overhead compartment where u put ur luggage…she picks up her hand-carry to put it on top but it is very heavy…she lifts it up so she can put it…she puts it in the overhead compartment with a lot of strength…and is happy with her little accomplishment…she closes the overhead compartment…when a little kid comes running from somewhere and bumps into her which makes her lose her balance and she falls on the guy's lap with her feet in the aisle way…

She screams and is on the guy…

The guy moves his magazine and look at her…OMG the guy is so hot
He is wearing a black shirt with blue jeans…has the most amazing eyes and has black hair… (He is played by Rajeev Khandelwal)… so u get the idea abt how HOT he is…

Alicia is looking into the guys eyes the guy looks into her eyes…they are busy looking into each other eyes… they are completely lost in each other ….It is like the time has stopped especially for them…

(In the background the song Dekha jo tumko from Kasoor comes on

Suddenly u hear a voice: Excuse me Sir and Madam…we are about to take off…madam can u plz legs from the aisle and fasten your seatbelts…

Alicia: Oh sorry…she moves her legs in

The airhostess: it's ok…and leaves…

Alicia: I'm so sorry to the guy…and gets up and sits in her seat…

The guy is still lost in his thoughts and has not realized she is talking to him…the guy closes his eyes and thinks about what just happened…and he dozes off to sleep

Alicia thinking I guess he is mad at me…but whatever she is thinking about the fact that she is gonna go to NYC for the first time…it would be so cool and stuff…

The plane takes off…they are up in the sky…now u can listen to ur electronic device so she puts on her I-Pod and listens to the song Angel Eyes by Raghav (I personally LUV tht song) and starts humming to it…She gets a novel out and turns on the light to read it...and the light goes on the guy face…he moves his face to the other side but the light is still disturbing him…it has been 10 minutes and he can't sleep with the light…finally he gives up…and says: Can u plz close the light I'm trying to sleep here…(he doesn't know she has headphones on)…

The guy: plz close the light… (He thinks she is so rude…so just decide to shut it himself)

He turns the light off…

Alicia shocked at what happened…she takes her headphones out and says: Why did u close it? I was reading...

Guy: I was trying to sleep

Alicia: well u could hv asked me to do it…

Guy: I did…but u didn't bother to reply so I just did it myself…

Alicia: U did…oh…I probably didn't hear ya…cuz I had headphones on…

Alicia: Sorry abt that…anyways I'm Alicia and u r?

Guy: Oh…it's cool…I'm Sameer

Alicia: nice meeting u Sameer…

Sameer: same here…so do u live in NY?

Alicia: no…I'm going to study there…wht abt u?

Sameer: Really…Where r u going to study?

Alicia: NYU

Sameer: Ur kidding me…

Alicia: no

Sameer: I study there too…it is my last year there…are u just starting?

Alicia: Yes…

Sameer: cool…you'll like it there…and now u even hv a friend who goes there…who can give u the 411

Alicia: Who r u talking abt? I don't know even there…

Sameer: Me…obviously

Alicia: Oh…so does that mean we're friends…

Sameer: yes…why is there a problem?

After 5 minutes…

Sameer has shocked look on his face: what?

It looks like he had the biggest shock of his life…

Alicia: I was kidding

He stretches his hand towards her

Alicia: yes…and shakes his hand and smiles…

Then they keep on talking about there lives…what they wanna do in their life's…their goals and ambitions…They both feel really comfortable with each other…

Then an announcement comes: Ladies and gentleman's…Thank you for flying with us we're landing in the JF Airport soon…plz fasten your seatbelts….

Their plane lands…they both get their luggage and go to the baggage claim….

They both get their stuff…and go to the gate…

The music of Salaam- Namaste comes on…it is Sameer's cell

Sameer: Hello

Guy on the other line: Hey…where r u?

Sameer: at the airport…where r u?

Guy: me too…I'm at the arrival gate…but I don't see u…

Sameer: I'm at the baggage claim…I'm coming to the arrival gate…See ya there

Guy: Bye

He hangs up

Sameer: Ok…It was great meeting u Alicia…I have to go now…See ya around

Alicia: k…Bye

Sameer leaves toward the arrival gate…Alicia goes toward the airport exit to get a Cab…

They both are going in opposite directions…

Sameer thinking why do I feel bad about leaving her alone?

Alicia thinking why did he go?

Sameer thinking maybe it was my fault…I should go back…he stops and turns around and sees Alicia going toward the exit quickly…He thinks if she wanted me to stay she would hv asked…I should just forget about it….Then he just goes toward his destination quickly…

Alicia thinks I should ask him to come with me…She turns back and sees Sameer walking towards the arrival gate…She thinks he probably doesn't like me and that is why he is running toward his destination…Then she thinks whatever…I'm here to enjoy life and experience new things…he was no one in her life…She is out of the airport now and hires a cab…she gives the driver the address to Sonya's apartment and gets excited abt meeting her…

Will Sameer and Alicia ever meet again? Is their friendship gonna end? Do they share a bond except friendship? What crazy events are gonna happen in Alicia's life? To find out all the answers…Tune into the next part of "LIVING LIFE"

2ND PART-

Alicia is sitting in the cab and thinks abt her life and how it has changed so quickly...She is lost in her thoughts…

While on the other side of NY there is a tall red-brick apartment building and then the camera focuses on this balcony of an apartment…it goes inside the apartment there u can see…the living room is a mess… …they have a plasma TV…and a couch there facing towards the TV…there are chips bags, beer bottles, and pizza boxes lying there…it looks like a dump…then it goes in the kitchen where dishes are lying in the sink…dirty old dishes…then finally we go in a room…there are clothes lying on the floor…magazines, are on the floor too…there is a pile of CDs…looking at the room you wonder how can someone live there…anyways there is a person lying on the bed and is covered with a blue blanket…then an alarm rings…the guy closes it…then another one rings and he closes it too…after 5 minutes an another one rings…he gets the clock and tries to close it but that doesn't work so he just throws it on the floor…and goes back to sleep….

Then there we hear a door shut…someone just entered the apartment let see who it is...We see a cute guy enter…he is wearing a blue shirt, with a black leather jacket and dark blue jeans… (He is played by Ejaz Khan)… He has a pizza box in his hand he takes it and puts it on the kitchen counter…The amazing aroma of the freshly baked pizza goes in the guy's room…he takes the blanket off his face (And yes it is none other then Iqbal Khan or a.k.a. Angad)…he has this cute smile on his face…he sniffs the pizza smell…and says: Chicken Supreme Pizza (He is wearing a cute white vest with black shorts)…my favorite…and leaves his room and comes to kitchen…

The guy in the kitchen turns and looks at him…

He says: Rishi…when did u wake up? I thought you were sleeping…

Rishi: I was until I smelled the pizza…and gets a hot piece of pizza and start to eat it…

Rishi: Anyways Jay how come you woke up so early? And don't tell me you brought the pizza home because u couldn't find the house u had to deliver the pizza to… (He finishes his sentence while laughing)

Jay in a serious tone: Rishi I have to tell you something …it might be bad news…

Rishi: Don't tell me…your getting fired again…

Jay: Listen to me yaar…

Rishi: ok…go ahead…

Jay: you know how u always say that I should do something else besides being a pizza delivery guy…and focus on what I want in my life…

Rishi eating the pizza and not really listening…mumbles: yes

Jay: well…I got a job offer…

Rishi: That is great…what is the bad part?

Jay: well…they offered me an apartment and it is only one-bedroom…and I'm shifting tomorrow….

Rishi: you are kidding me…

Jay: no

Rishi angrily: What the hell…I have to pay the rent by myself… you know I don't have that kind of money…

Jay: I'm sorry…I'll pay you as soon as I get my salary…

Rishi: you know what…just get out…

Jay: look at it this way… you will get to live alone by yourself like you always wanted…

Rishi looks at him angrily

Jay: don't get mad at me yaar…I get it I'll go…I'll see you when your anger has cooled down…

Jay leaves…

Rishi thinking how will I pay the rent this month? Then he gets an idea…I will have to find a new roommate…and SOON…

4^th part-

Jay comes to the apartment corridor thinking…:I don't think it has been enough time…Rishi is probably pissed off…so I think it is better if I go to Sonya's place"…He knocks on the door and no one replies…so he just opens the door because it wasn't locked…he enters and thinks he is pretty hungry…he goes to the kitchen opens the fridge and looks for something to eat…he sees a fresh green apple…he gets it…he is about to close the door when he sees a shadow…

There is a shadow of a women he looks up and sees a women in a white bathroom with facial mask on his face and gets scared and screams…The women (she is Alicia) starts screaming too…He thinks it is a BHOOT…so he starts screaming there is a BHOOT…and runs out of the apartment…the girl gets scared thinking it was a bhoot too and goes to bathroom…and thinks she was imagining it…there is no BHOOT…she goes and sees her face in the mirror…and lets out a little shriek then she realizes that she is looking at herself…she takes a deep breath of relief and washes her face…she gets a towel and dries of her face…when she hears some noise…she gets outside…she goes toward the living room…she sees the back of a guy…he is peeking behind the curtains…she comes up to a conclusion that he is a thief…she sees a vase and lifts it up…she sneaks behind him and hits him on his head…the guy says "OWW"…and turns around to see what hit him…he sees her and is about to say something but he faints…she gets scared and runs out of the apartment in her bathroom without any slippers…

Central Perk (the coffee place form Friends)-

Sonya and Rahul are sitting on a couch there drinking coffee and discussing what are they going to do abut Alicia…

When a guy comes running in screaming "Sonya…Sonya…Sonya…"

Sonya looks at him and says: What happened? Why are u screaming?

Jay: OMG…you aren't going to believe I just saw a BHOOT in your apartment…I told you your place was haunted…It was so scary…I think you should move…

Sonya: Are you kidding me? There aren't any ghosts at my place….

While Alicia is running outside on the streets…and everybody is staring at her…She sees the coffee place and enters…

Jay sees Alicia and says: OMG the BHOOT followed me…and starts to panic…

Sonya and Rahul turn around and see a scared Alicia…

Alicia: Sonya you aren't gonna believe what just happened?

Jay to Sonya: Oh…u know the BHOOT…I always knew u had contacts with them…

ON the other hand Rahul is laughing like crazy at seeing what is happening…

Sonya: Shut up Jay and stop laughing like a hyena Rahul…Alicia…what are u doing here in ur bathrobe? Is everything alright…

Rahul stops laughing and Jay shuts up…but he is still confused…

Alicia: I'm so scared...

Sonya: ok…relax Alicia sit down…and tell us wht happened

Alicia: I was done taking my shower and had put my facial mask on…when I start hearing weird noises outsides…I went outside to investigate there I saw this guy but didn't really see his face in the kitchen…he started yelling "BHOOT…BHOOT"…so I got scared and ran to the bathroom and he left…

Jay interrupts: Oh…that guy was me…Hi…I'm Jay…and u r? And sorry about scaring you…

Alicia: Oh...hey I'm Alicia…Did u really see a ghost?

Jay: Actually…NO…I thought u were the ghost…

Alicia: do u mean I looked like a bhoot…am I that ugly…

Jay: no…you're really pretty… (Alicia blushes)…but with the mask…u know u looked scary and it was so dark…I got scared…

Sonya: Alicia will u continue…and Jay shut up…and looks at him angrily

Jay: ok

Alicia: Ok…so I went to the bathroom…thinking I probably had an illusion or something…then I heard some noise again and went out again…then I see this guy peeking around…I thought he was a thief so I hit him with a vase and he fainted...then I just come here…

Jay: no u didn't do that…and starts laughing…

Everybody with a confused expression…

Alicia: why are u laughing?

Jay unable to control his laughter says: You hit Rishi by mistake…

Sonya: How do u know it could have been someone else too?

Jay then tells them when he was running outside thinking there was ghost he ran into Rishi…He told him what he saw…so Rishi decided to go to Sonya's place and investigate…

Everybody except Alicia start laughing…and she has a confused look on her face

Sonya: Poor Rishi…

Sonya sees Alicia's face…

Sonya: Stop laughing…Alicia…Rishi is our friend and our neighbor he lives right across the hall…

Alicia: oh

Sonya: And Jay lives with Rishi…

Alicia gives a weird look to Jay and says: O.K

Jay guesses wht Alicia is thinking and says: Oh…no it is nothing like what you are thinking…Rishi and I are just friends…

Alicia: When did I say you were more than friends….and she laughs…

When we hear a guys angry voice: You…B****…what r you doing here?

Everyone looks at him and we see Rishi in a bad mood…a very bad mood and he comes near Alicia…Alicia is scared…
