This was the article I found in the newspaper so thought of posting it. Sorry if it has been already posted.

Soap queen ekta kapoor has got viewers glued to their sets with her family dramas. but does she herself watch then all? We find out.

How much TV do u watch?

About three hours a day. I watch two hours of TV before I sleep(ekta works through the night and catches up on her sleep in the day). Also around half an hour early in the morning.

Do u watch ur own shows or other Hindi serials?

Yes. I watch some of my shows. From outside I watch rabba ishq na hove.

Which r ur favourites from among ur shows?

I like kkayaanjali and kahin to hoga.

And international TV shows?

I like orange county. It's a soap opera… the story of an orphan boy who gets adopted by a family and steps into a high society world

It's like a balaji show… lots of twists and turns. I also like desperate housewives.

Who is ur favourite actress here and internationally?

Irfan khan here. And gale Harold who plays brian in queer as folk.

Favourite actresses?

Smriti irani and shefali chaaya. I also like terry hatcher from desperate housewives.

Favourite TV character?

Sujal(kahin to hoga). His idiosyncrasies and quirks r lovable and detestable. He doesn't belive in social norms. He;s his own person. I also like rishi from the same show.

What about TV serials dragging endlessely?

THE CHARACTERS IN A SHOW BECOME LOVEABLE after sometime. So u have to wait to give the next turn. After a huge drama is created in a show there comes a lull cause u cannot have twists all the time.

How do u react to being called the soap-queen?

I don't go by terms. I feel u r given a term for the phase tht's on in ur life.when another phase comes there's another term given. So I'm neutral. I don't react to any of the terms.

All right, now my thing is, if you like one or two serials the best, that's O.K. Everyone has favorites. But you CAN'T let that effect the performance of the serials. She really gives more preference to KhavyaAnjali and Kahin to Hoga, where she has a "liking" for the main actor, and THAT'S what irriates me. I heard that KhavyaAnjali moves along faster and stuff, and that's not fair. And I don't think anything we say affects or will affect her, as long as we are keeping her TRP's up....... 😡

well u shouldnt be angry at her 4 not mentionin kyph cuz shez the one who made it. we should atleast ggive her that much credit.
