It seems like Life OK is Abhishek Awasthi'sfavourite channel as since the past few years, the actor has been seen on the same channel in various shows.
The last show he did was Wizcrafts' magnum opus show Ramleela, anchored by Ajay Devgn in which Abhishek played Hanuman's role. It is also heard that the actor was offered their culinary reality show Welcome-Baazi Mehman Nawazi but things didn't work out because evenRakhi Sawant was their choice.
And now the latest we hear is that the actor has bagged their ongoing show, Kaisa Yeh Ishq Hai...,produced by Manish Goswami.
A source informs, "Abhishek will portray Gabru Singh, a very filmy character who considers himself as Salman Khan. He will be paired opposite the lead's sister."
We too hear that Abhishek has started shooting for the show from today (18th December, 2013).
When contacted, Abhishek Awasthi confirmed the news.
