Hope u like it its my first attempt
It was 11.30 at night simmi was pacing around their room confused anxious and scared.
"Raj how am I ever going make halwaI have never made halwa forget making it I dono wt goes in a halwa" she sighed as she sat next to raj.
Shekept calling her dad. But in van he wasn't picking up the phone she throws the phone away in frustration.
"Dad y aren't you picking up the call" she signed .
"don't throughthe phone the if any of the family members find the phone the your in deep trouble" he spoke in a calm voice.
His calmness was irrating her.
"My dear lovely husband why are u sitting there I am soo tensed how ma I gonin to make halwa. And you here reading a stupid magazine. Raj you've changed since were married you promised to help me .Everyones gona laugh at me when they will know I can't cook." She spoke in anger with hint of disappointment.
He didn't response
"Raj don'tsit there and do something."
"My dear wife I will teach you" he spoke again incalmness.
Simmi was really irritatedby know
"When I have to cook halwafirst thing in the morning"she practically screamed hopping the seriousness of this sisuation will actually go into her husband's head.
" Mrs simmi relax I ur husband is here to guide and teach you once I've read my article".
Simmi got reached for the magazine snatched it and hit her husband with it.
"Are you seriousky hitting me wait till tauji hears about this he gona be very angry" he joked.
Simmi gave up and nsat on her side of the bed " raj whats gona happen when they learn that I cant cook"
Raj was quite for a moment
"Hmmm if my family learn that you can't cook they will throw you out of the house and get me married to someone who can cook " he smirked.
"Your in hurry to get married wait till I get out of this halwa making problem I will personally find you girl I will find you girl who isfemale sumo wrestler who can fight with her inlaws if they don't obey her" she replied back hurt.
"Will you reali get me married again" he askedexcited.
"Yh I will n on your wedding day I will kill you both and kill myself too happy know" she responded back."
Raj pulled simi towards him and hugged her tight and simmi responded to his hug
"Okay it 12 know wait till half and hour then well go to the kitchen andill show all the stuff that goes in halwa" he gently wishpered in her ear.
A smile appeared on her face
"Okay" she responded "What if some one sees us then" she asked while breaking the hug.
"Then I willtell them your planning of running away from home because you have a boyfriend who is waiting for you once you kill everyone and take all our money." he joked.
Simi got on her pillow and again began to beat her husband.
"Raj what's your problem am soo restless here and your not helping"
"Okay am sori but" he spoke to defend his self
"But wt" she questioned him with her angry look.
"You look more beautiful when ur angry" he said staring at her.
Simi blushed and pulled him from the bed ordering "Flirt later teach first" .
"Okay lets go" he ordered her and she obyed and followed him to the kitchen.
"This is suji ….This is ghee… Add the ghee first then add the suji mix well till suji changes colour to golden" he soke in low voice.
"Okay" spoke simi who was busy observing all the ingredients and instructions.
"In a pan add water and sugar bring to boil and when sugar melts the add to suji and and mix." Before he could finish the soundfootsteps approaching the kitchen began to increase.
"Hide behind the wooden box he ordered while ill go see who it is" he told quietly.
Simmi obeyed his instructions and hide praying that they don't get caught. He peeked form behind the cupboard to see it was boxer chachu.
"Boxer chachu oh God what is he doing here"
"Methai where is the methai those sweet laddo and gulab gamuns" he to spoke quietly after while of searching he found the methai and he sat at the entrence of the kitchen eating it.
Raj and simmi exchanged glares on what to do next as they could not leave as boxer chachu blocked their way.
He signalled simmi that hell get rid of him before he could come of his hiding he heard footsteps he wentt back into hidings.
Boxer chachu too heard the food steps he quickly run back and forth to place the methai back and find a hiding place.
Simi prayed that he would not see them " oh God plz ley chachu hide somewhere else not not see us"
He looked for places to hide and then he saw raj hiding he want up to him " what are you doing here"
raj didn't know what to say "I was juss .."
Before he finish the dadaji appeared in the kitchen
"where did they keep the ladu I want some ladoo"
Dadji spotted the ladoo and grabbed a handful of them put it in a plate and left
"What are you doing here" boxer chachu asked
"I" … he looked at simi who was still hiding " I wanted some lodoo after all I am the one who got married I didn't get any ladoo.
"Okay. But don't tell any one abiut out meeting or else..
Before boxer chachu could finish another the voice of tauji emerged from the corner of the kitchen all three of them panicked. And went back into hiding.
"don't even breath" was all boxer chachu said looking at raj.
"youll get your money tumaro" tauji yelled at the person on the phone. He noticed the box of ladoo on the table and grabbed one ate it and headed towards his room.
Boxer chachu went to the table and grabbed the box methai and took it to his room.
"this house is full of thieves" that's all he said
Raj run to simi
"we nearlygot caught" spoke simmi
" I know lets go before someone else come"
They both run to their room and locked it.
Simmi noticed raj laughing
"Wt" she asked his curious
"its funny how everyone has midnight secrests".
