After Ekta had praise Iqbal Khan as SRK of TV, many of his co-stars talked about their experiances working with him....
Aamna Shariff had also commented....

Iqbal Khan- TV's SRK with no shows!
Last night on Koffee with Karan, Ekta Kapoor called Iqbal Khan the Shah Rukh of television. Iqbal has done three Balaji serials: Kaisa Yeh Pyaar hai, Kahin To Hoga and Karam Apna Apna but unlike Shah Rukh, Iqbal has been off the television radar for 6 months now.
Last night on Koffee with Karan, Ekta Kapoor called Iqbal Khan the Shah Rukh of television. Iqbal has done three Balaji serials: Kaisa Yeh Pyaar hai, Kahin To Hoga and Karam Apna Apna but unlike Shah Rukh, Iqbal has been off the television radar for 6 months now.
So how does "TV's SRK" respond to Ekta's praise?
"I accept her compliment. It's a great honour that she feels I'm the SRK of television. Everyone likes Shah Rukh. He is a great star and I like his style."
The actor, who plans to get back to the small screen soon, would not mind working with Balaji again. "If she offers me a good role I would definitely work with her production house."
Iqbal's wife Sneha tells us, "We were watching Koffee with Karan and after hearing Ekta's comment we just looked at each other without saying anything! It's nice to know that she thinks my husband is the SRK of TV."
We asked some of Iqbal's former co-stars for their opinion:
Neha Bamb- played the role of Kripa with Iqbal in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar.
I had a good work relationship with Iqbal. If I get the chance to work with him again then I will on a professional basis. I don't want to say much on this matter. If Ekta approaches me do a role with him I would do it purely on a working front.
Hiten Tejwani- has worked with Iqbal twice; in Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hai and Karam Apna Apna.
As an actor he is very committed and his attitude was very cool. Iqbal was wonderful on the sets.
Aamna Sharif- stared with Iqbal in Kahin To Hoga
It was a nice experience working with Iqbal. He is very nice actor and if I get a chance to work with him again I would love to. I can't say if he is like SRK or not but as an actor he is very hardworking.
Pallavi Subhash- played Gauri in Karam Apna Apna
He is a nice guy and a very good co-star. If I get a chance to work with him I will definitely say yes. I haven't seen yesterday's show but it's great that Iqbal got that compliment.
Apara Mehta- played Krishna Dadi Karam Apna Apna
He is a wonderful actor and is very committed. I don't know whether he will reach the heights of SRK but he is hard working. Whenever I have had a scene with him I have enjoyed myself in his company. In addition to this he is very good looking!
Other than comparing Iqbal to SRK, Ekta also made some other interesting comments. She called Ram Kapoor the sexiest man on television, accused Rajiv Khandelwal of wanting not only a role but also her house and said that Smriti Irani and she shared a husband-wife relationship. Apara Mehta agrees to her last comment saying, "They have been husband wife for past 7 years! Though we still cannot say who is the husband and who is the wife. When it comes to the two of them it can be said that "Jab miya biwi razi to kya karaga Kazi". Their relationship is like this."
