Manish Raisinghani, the hardcore Punjabi munda who is seen in Teen Bahuraniya and Betiyaan Apni Ya Paraya Dhaan, has turned vegetarian. All this because of a Rudraksha he has been wearing.
The actor, who became popular as Varun (Kahin To Hoga), reveals, "My family was going through a tough phase health-wise this year and my mom asked me to wear it. As I am not too much into religious rituals, I was unaware that one must quit eating meat after wearing the Rudraksha. In fact, four days later my co-star warned me about it and since then I have given up eating meat.
I have become more conscious regarding health and spiritual matters after wearing this, all thanks to my mother."
When asked whether it was difficult for him to avoid eating all those delicious spicy chicken curry served on the sets, he said, "Well it has been a little tough but I have tremendous self control. I relish the masala milk and the fruit juices that are available in the studio canteen!"
What health tips does the actor want to give to all his fans who want to turn veggie? "Have self-control. By consuming only vegetarian food, your concentration powers increase."
