Aamna was NOT the official choice!

Hey, im Yuvi, i remember reading an interview of Gurdeep Kohli, and she stated in the interview that she had many offers once her first serial became a hit, and one was definitely Kahin To Hoga's Kashish... heres the question where she told she was the choice for Kashish...(i've highlighted it in Red)

Playing the same character continuously, make the acting skills go unnoticed. Agree?
Not at all. Believe me, I have been flooded with offers. Here goes the list of people who wanted me in their projects: Vashu Bhagnani for Hrishita Bhatt's role in Out Of Control, Ken Ghosh for Amrita Rao's role in Ishk Vishk Pyar Vyar, Sooraj Barjatya for Rajat Barjatya's film which never materialised, Ekta Kapoor for Aamna Shariff's role in Kahiin To Hoga. And Ashutosh Gowariker screen-tested me for Swades starring Shah Rukh Khan. But first, I want the serial to reach a logical conclusion. I am not in a hurry to reach anywhere. I will tread on the glamour road very stealthily. I am very young, I want to take my own sweet time getting there on top.

yup.......i know this..its a very old interview.......ths came during the time ishq vish released...lolzzzzzzz im glad amrita did the role.....imagine how gurdep would have looked with shahid 😕

tru she would have looked different!!! yes its an old interview but i jus thought of sharing it here, because its related to KTH...and Aamna's role as Kashish...

Though in this interview it says she did a screen test, later she revealed that she said no to the Swades role...can u believe it? she rejected a chance many other top bolly actresses would have died for..her decision was wrong, cos her role didnt last in sindoor, and it later developed in a typical saas-bahu drama role..
