Shabbir's friendship with Ekta pays well.

Shabbir Ahluwalia's friendship with Ekta Kapoor really came in use.He is the only actor from Kahin to Hoga who has got himself another role in Balaji.The rest of the starcast including Aamna Sharif and Gurpreet Singh were allegedly asked by the production house to start looking for work else-where as they had nothing to offer them.

But this wasn't the case with Shabbir as he is one of Ekta's close buddies.

In between they had a fallout due to Shabbir's friendship with Nausheen Ali Sardar,the original Kkussum,but things are great after the actor chose to cut off his friendship with her in order to remain friends with Ekta.
