Mreenal gets desperate

Mreenal Deshraj is trying hard to get recognised it seems. After playing the vamp for a long time on Kahiin To Hoga on Star Plus, Mreenal has turned positive. Even after almost eight months of being the bad lady on screen, Mreenal couldn't match up to the popularity achieved by the other Balaaji vamps like Komolika (Urvashi Dholakia), Mohini (Tasneem Sheikh) and Jigyasa (Jaya Bhattacharya).

The lady in question needed a radical change of character and maybe that explains her turning positive as the show got revamped recently. Interestingly according to her, much as she loves portraying this new avatar, she does miss her negative role. "It feels great to act with a different approach, but I miss being mean and evil on the show," says Mreenal. (Sampurn)
