Gurpreet Singh and Kanishka will get married next month

Earlier, the story that did the rounds was that television actor Gurpreet Singh (Sujal) and his long time girlfriend Kanishka had eloped soon after Gurpreet bagged the role of Sujal in Kahiin To Hoga. However, the duo vehemently denied being married. And now, we hear that the two will finally tie the knot next month.
Kanishka and Gurpreet have been seeing each other over the last few years. With a steady relationship and a great career, Gurpreet Singh is now ready to get married. The buzz is that the wedding is scheduled for next month. "That's true," confirms Kanishka. "We've been thinking about formalising our relationship for a long time but Gurpreet was so busy with his work that we just didn't have the time for a wedding."
With Kahiin To Hoga going strong, is Gurpreet still shooting 24/7? "He has decided to take a break," she says. Gurpreet will take a break for a few days before and after the wedding. "He is working out the dates with Balaji and accordingly we'll fix our wedding day," she says.
Kanishka and Gurpreet will get married in Delhi. "It'll be a small affair with just a few family and friends present. We wanted to be away from Mumbai. Here, we are always surrounded by the industry folks, so wanted to keep it a very private affair," says Kanishka. The actress says that Gurpreet maintains a low profile and prefers to stay away from gossip and controversies. "Both of us prefer to spend time with our families," she says. The actress adds that the earlier rumours about the two being married were untrue. "I don't know who fabricated that story. We were just engaged. If we were married already, why would we tie the knot now?" asks Kanishka.
