Yes we can be the best cencer board... but just think about those who are living in some states in India itself where we dont have opportunity to watch many channels, as they get only limited channels to watch , Courtesy...Indian Politics. then being a housewife i know that sometimes without your interest you have to switch on the TV sets , again thanks to this remote .... and there you have nothing.. from 8 .00 pm to 10.00pm at primetime on every channel .. you have only Balaji serials to watch. And why only Balaji .. this is shown in the shows of each and every production houses...eg Sindoor, Piya ka ghar, etc etc. Thanks to Sony , who has started some really good shows.

and what about older generations.. whose only source of entertainment are these TV sets. They dont have much work to do, they dont go outside to watch films, they spend their time in puja paath and rest watching some serials . Then what about them..?

If Sony can take this major step , why not other channels?

Despite having a censor board there in films... a 16 yr old student will go to watch "A" grade movie.. but there one satisfaction is there that family members dont get embarassed. So i dont think that this is the solution.

Like u ive also stopped watching starplus serials .. but still i do watch sometimes...once in a while. and this is happening with everyone. and still the TRPS are high ...how? God knows.

Thanks .. but this can be a good topic if you all express your views regarding this... without finding out that who is watching and who is not ...and why to watch KTH ... why to stop watching KTH . This is not related to this .... but help us try to find out , and suggest the solution of this,. ..... provided ,,,,if there is any scope. This problem is going on and on with other production houses too .

seriously no one wants to watch a TV show about a couple getting married and living in marital bliss for the rest of their lives.. To be entertained audience like some ups and downs, scandals and controversies. Afterall its all about a TV show.. all about fictional people and fictional settings..

If people can't distinguish between fiction and real life and do whatever people on TV do then its NOT Ekta or TV's fault.. Those people should learn hard dose of reality..

that there is a difference in mentality also ..and because of this difference it is hard to digest by the people living in not much advanced cities...that is the reason why these murders , rapes, divorce cases are increasing day by day in our society ...bcoz people still relate themselves with these characters ...which we all know are fictious ... they take it so seriously that so many bad things they are learning from these shows and Films.

And here we are not discussing only Ekta ...but other shows also ... but it is the truth that Balaji is a trendsetter and is given an upadhi of "Soap Queen " thats why she has become an issue.

And Hollywood movies . we are not discussing b coz it is not our culture . We are discussing ..that is there need to become western .. despite having such a wonderful culture of ours which teaches us everything which is required for being a good human being. Now here you dont say that only we are good human beings... western people are not... then we will deviate from the track.

And last but not the least .. do you want to say that parents ...whose children ask such questions are inadequate.? ??? They dont know how to bring up their children ????? I am glad that my parents were good enough to explain to me that whatever's inside a TV screen/movies etc are not real.

And its good for kids to ask questions too, specially since some kids do have more than one mums or dads. Its not a foreign concept. Many parents remarry etc. Its a fact of life now.

Ok so wht abt the question a kid asked his mother in Mumbai.

Ma if prerna can hav 2 husbands so why can't yu thn I can hav 2 fathers. This actually lead to the attack on balaji office by women. this he could ask because the serial is being telecasted at a time whn kids also watch TV.

yes maybe we dnt need censor & also these censors may nt work. bt atleasy hav the decency to air these shws at proper time. Maybe bit late so tht kids can be kept away frm thm.

Censor will never work. Do thy always work for movies? No. So how do yu expect thm to here. Again the same advise frm me. Use yur remote as the censor. Yu yurself be the censor.
