Akshat signs his first non-Balaji serial

After becoming a known face courtesy his role as Akshat in Kahih To Hogga, actor Chaitanya Choudary will now be seen playing the lead in Bag Films' Ankhiyon Ke Jharkon Se. It's the first time that Chaitanya will be working outside Balaji Telefilms. "I've started shooting for the show but I'm not supposed to divulge any details. All I can say is that it's a very interesting show and I'm pretty excited about it," he says. "The only reason I am working outside Balaji is because this was a very good offer and I took permission from Balaji before signing the show."
The serial also stars Muskaan Mehani (Mandy of Yeh Mari Life Hai) and Sachin Verma. "Still, my track in Kahih To Hogga is very prominent and in Kavyanjali, my character has been shown as going to the USA. However, Ankhiyon Ke Jharokon Se is a weekly and working for it would be relatively easier than working for a daily," he says. The show is scheduled to go on air by July-end.
