Fashionably late is how the Provogue Spring-Summer '06 fashion show started. But when it did, nobody could take their eyes off the ramp. Russian dancers dressed in skimpy outfits scorched the ramp with their sinuous dances. The event held to celebrate the success of the Provogue Spring-Summer '06 was packed to the hilt. Achla Sachdev, who choreographed the show, grinned from ear to ear as she saw some of the hautest models — including Muzamil Ibrahim, Zulfi Syed, Raman Lamba, Bunty Grewal, Anchal Kumar, Candice Pinto and Tapur Chatterjee — pep up the collection with their high-energy performance on the ramp. The collection was eclectic and included popular trends including olives and combat prints, stripes, fitted tees, psychedelic prints, shimmer and sparkles. What was unique about the fashion show was that it was more like a party on the ramp, what with the models jiving to the music. The summer only got hotter as the male models strutted the brand's innerwear collection... quite a tease for the crowd! The models also shared the ramp with television actors Rajeev Khandelwal and Shweta Salve, who soaked in the cheers from the crowd. Emcee Teejay Sidhu kept the crowd entertained with her repartees, while boyfriend Manoj Bohra cheered on from the crowd. Though the crowd was expecting Fardeen Khan to walk the ramp, his absence was made up for by supermodel Ujjwala Raut, who sizzled in a frayed pink top and denims. The show was followed by an after-party that had many from the glamour world attend. Spotted enjoying the revellery were Neelam Kothari, Ken Ghosh, Pond's Femina Miss-India Universe Neha Kapur and Niketen Madhok. Also spotted having a good time were Bikram Saluja with wife Schauna, VJ Ramona, Salil Ankola and singer Mika.
