Aamna Shariff — Kashish of Kahiin To Hoga has bought her dream house at Meghdoot Towers (B Wing), off Lokhandwala Complex.
The actress is currently staying in a rented apartment in Hari Priya (Four Bungalows), she has started moving her stuff out and will move in to her 1700 sq feet 3-BHK by month-end.
Earlier, Aamna was staying in a bungalow at Pali Hill. "I always had a deep desire of owning my own place. Finally my dream has come true." she says happily. Looking for solitude
The actress had been house hunting for along time. She'd finally zeroed down to in on this place. After house hunting at various locations, Aamna had narrowed it down to two flats — one in Park Plaza at Seven Bungalows and the other in Meghdoot Towers off Lokhandwala. "Finally, I went in for Meghdoot, because it is quieter. I like solitude. After a hard day's work, I like to be in a peaceful environment." One room for clothes
"The new flat will be exquisitely done. I have yet to appoint an interior decorator. I have two or three people in mind, but I have yet to make my final choice," she adds.
Aamna reveals that one room a dressing room. Like a giant walk-in closet. "It will be exclusively for only my dresses. There will be no furniture in that room. Just a rod, hangers and my outfits, bags, shoes and personal accessories. Shayyad ek kamra mere kapdon ke liye kam padega," says the most fashionable and glamorous gal of Indian television. Without getting into the number of dresses she owns, Aamna tells us "I have about 600 pairs of shoes, 200 bags and loads of belts. I am a make-up and fashion freak. There have been several instances where I have returned from the gate of an event, that I was to attend simply because I had second thoughts about the attire or make-up I was wearing."
Aamna's mom will be living with her at her new place. The mother and daughter are very close. In the last week of December, Aamna had taken her mother to Bahrain to meet her relatives. She returned to bring in the New Year with an appearance for a show in Guwahati, Assam. |
