Mrinal Deshraj is presently on cloud nine. She recently signed her first Balaji soap and is slated to soon be part of the on-going Kahin To Hoga on Star Plus.

"I play a character called Shipra Arora, who is a fashion designer and socialite from London. With the twist in the plot, new characters have been introduced, and I am one of them. I play an all-out negative character who has frequent clashes with the character Vasundhara (Madhuri)," says Mrinal.

Mrinal is very excited about her new role. "I am happy to do a Balaji show finally! I take my character as a challenge; one has to be quite spontaneous and powerful in one's performance to stand against the character of Vasundhara (Madhuri Bhatia)", she says.

The actress is also busy shooting for Rajshri Production's next project Vivah, starring Shahid Kapoor and Amrita Arora. That apart, she will also be playing a cop in Gautam Adhikari's next thriller, Krishna Global Bureau.
