For me, authenticity to the epic is most important, but I don't know. If there was a bad cast, it still would not make a good impression.

The most imp thing to consider while making an epic like MB is to preserve the soul and morals of it.. if you can't show the philosophy, teachings, morals etc of this great epic, there is no point making it.. this is the reason i like BR's MB the most.. apart from strong cast, dialogues, direction and authenticity to the story, it used 'samay' as a wonderful soothing narrator to describe the philosophy of MB in detail.. Ekta's MB simply lacks it.. it has been reduced to a saas-bahoo soap without that 'magic' touch..
