Ritz... Tum aur Saaaashaaa... Sudrogi nahin na?😆 Kya haath, naak, muh sab dho kar peeche padi hui ho bechaare Mr. Kala Coat ke😳

Saaaashaaaa from the last generation for me was, "intense"... Now, he's "comical" like Julu said. No matter what he says or does, it some how turns out humorous😳 They've in some way managed to dummy his character. But nonetheless, Saaaashaaa has this particular spark which makes him loveable. No one could do justice to the character more than Chetan, the guy is fantabulous! As a villan as such, he still has class... but no one beats my Pallo.😃

Which is what makes him not such a great actor. Much loved villain equals the actor not doing his job well.

Hey yaar... You're entitled to your opinion, but I completely disagree on my part. For me, no villan stands next to Pallavi. I've found that she's the only one I've actually sometimes found rooting for. And with that, I say Achint Kaur is one of the finest ones under the spotlight. Talent needs no intro here... if any doubt, check out an old confrontation scene between Pallavi and Parvati. As for Chetan, the guy has class I say. His scenes with Paro and Krishna in the past have been attention catching. I think he's doing a fabulous job. Nonetheless, he doesn't have to appeal to you as myself.

Cheers,
dc

So many POVs coming......I agree that when Saasha made his first appearence.....the impact was solid....

Second I missed...so can't comment 😳
This one.....I differ from everyone including Juleka (I will hide behind Vasu if Moderator comes after me 😆 😉 )...

He was shown comic.........dancing bam-bam bole and constantly fooled by Parvati.....but he was not fooled even for 1 minute by Paro 👏 ....the smart guy was acting to be foolish 😉 and he proved it in the end by getting Ishaan married to Shivangi 👏

And as far as getting slapped and not replying...this is KGGK and people take revenge strategically......they don't go shouting their lungs out....

Achint and Shweta kawatra were brilliant villans and Chetan is not bad either.....

Desi chick .........I know I am after saasha ekdum naha-dho ke😆........kya karoon..control hi nahin hota😳.......but atleast you stopped by in KGGK forum ...otherwise you have completely dissappeared😆

Having read some of the arguments, here are my two cents.

Regarding Sasha not "answering back" to Om's slap...Sasha isn't a gratuitous villain. He isn't a villain just for the sake of being one. Sasha entered the show as the neglected son of a man who had left his mother and married someone else. He's a member of the AG family, and yet has always been cast aside (by his father); when they entered, Sasha's intention was to get his mother Garima the rights she didn't get when his father was alive. He truly cared about his mother, and his brother and two cousins. He loved them, and he loved Gunn. When he found Monica, he fell in love like he never had before; with her, he was someone better than he was w/o her. That makes him human - three-dimensional, as opposed to the standard 2-D villains in other shows. (The same can be said of Pallavi - who has more depth in her than some of the 'good guys'). Sasha's villainy comes, from his pov, from being torn apart from his family, his identity. Even now, he blames (irrationally) Parvati for taking away his family. And yet, both he and Pallavi have never quite been able to break apart from the AGs. He will ALWAYS, always call Parvati "Aunty", even if he does have a quirky way to go about it. Dadi is Dadi, Om is "Om Uncle" and Shruti is "little sister". The same goes for Pallavi, who, even years after her divorce, still calls Parvati "bhabhi" and Om "bhaiya", and loves Krishna and Ishan like her own children.

That's why Sasha does not "retaliate" in ways that you expect stereotypical villains to do; like it or not, he has some modicum of respect for the family, esp. Parvati and Om. That's why he tells Parvati "no ordinary person can stand up to Sasha" and why he was impressed that finally Om "spoke up".

As for Chetan and the "much-loved villain" debate - speaking for myself, I do not love Sasha because I think he can change and become a good person, or that he will make someone a great husband or whatever, or that I have any expectations from him, in any way, to do something 'good'. I love Sasha because of the fact that he is such a damn good villain - that he can stand in the same frame as our heroine - Parvati - and match up to her prowess. There's nothing worse than watching a face-off between good and evil when one or the other side is so inferior, and the outcome so obvious. Even here, we know that in the end Parvati will win, but there is still an element of excitement, because both are well-matched and clever.

I agree with Neetu that on occasions I have found myself rooting for Pallavi over Paro; that has never been the case with Sasha, though I did want him to do what Monica had asked. Chetan's acting skills are recognised by the fact that we, as an audience, know that he is absolutely not to be trusted, and yet at the same time we cannot help but admire him and his skill. It's not that we don't see him as a villain, but rather that we recognise and celebrate his villainy.
