Some of Balaji's biggies roped in to play key characters in Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat

Ekta Kapoor's Mahabharat is all set to unveil the biggest of actors of small screen donning the most talked about characters in the mythological magnum opus. If sources are to be believed, most of the loyal actors of Balaji Telefilms will be featured in the show.

A mythological as big as Mahabharat, is bound to be a big budget project and Ekta is not leaving any stone unturned to make it a mega-success. Ekta's Mahabharat will be competing with another mythological- Sagar Arts' Ramayan - on a rival channel. So, to give it the initial push, Ekta wants to rope in all her big and loyal actors. Here's the introductory blueprint of the larger-than-life epic.

Our source from the industry says, "The process of approaching actors is a well thought out one. Hiten Tejwani whose character Karan in Kyunki… is similar to that of Karn in the epic. Aman Verma is chosen to essay the role of Yudhishthir. Chetan Hansraj for his good physique, height and baritone voice will be playing Bheem.

Ram Kapoor, Sakshi Tanwar, Shabbir Ahluwalia

For Arjun's role, Ekta has approached Shabbir Ahluwalia, because of his growing popularity. While Ram Kapoor is approached to play Dhritarashtra, the blind king and father of the Kauravs, who would be better than Akashdeep Sehgal to portray the menacing Duryodhan! Naman Shaw will be essaying the role of Abhimanyu."

A well-placed source from the production house says, "Sakshi Tanwar, who's been portraying the iconic character of Parvati Bhabi, has been approached for the role of Kunti. Ekta's blue-eyed girl Anita will get into the robes of Draupadi. However, Gauri is also considered for the role of Draupadi. It is yet to be seen who wins the race."

If all goes well, all the actors of Balaji will be featured in Mahabharat. However, the hunt for the most important characters of Lord Krishna and Bhishm Pitamah, is still on.

OMG.....Akashdeep 😳 , Chetan 😳 😳 , Shabbo 😳 😳 all in one Serial.....I just can't believe my good luck 😃 😃 😃 .........Can't wait ...

Only one let down..Ram kapoor as Dhristra 👎🏼 ...

Sakshi as Kunti....means she'll be our Sasha's mommie 😉 😉 😉 .....How will Sasha look calling Parvati...aunty as " Maaaaaaaaaaaaa"......kya scene hoga 😉 😉 😉

Shabbo as Arjun...too good 😃 and my ex-love Akashdeep as Duryodhan....wow Bheem and Dhuryodha are total dushman....so I will be really happy watching my ex (Akash) clash with my current(Chetan)....I am hoping that by the time Mahabhart starts...my heart deosn't change again 😆 😆

Bhishm Pitamah is easy: Ronit Roy!! He already plays a 1000 year old immortal Pitamah in KZK 😆

What about Shakuni Mama? How can they forget him? 🤔 How about that Indroneil from KZK? 😆

dc.....I am not hillarious.....just imagine..all Pandavas are so dedicated to their mom 😆 .....and Sasha playing an obedient son to Parvati ....saying dialouges like "maa agar apke paon dukh rahe hoon to kya mai daba doon" 🤣

Kal...ronit as Bhishma is perfect 👏 ....shakuni mama can be that mamaji from kayamath....but hiten as Karan and Gauri as draupadi ...all my kyunki babies are going to cry a lot.....and I have to conslole them....my number of posts will increase 😆

Gauri is simply the wrong choice for Draupadi, Hiten or no Hiten. She just does not have that..umm..."aura" for the character. That's the best way to put it I guess. I think she would be better as Subhadra or something. 🤔

EDIT: Varun Badola as Krishna? 😆

Can I give you one life-saving suggestion kal dear 😃 ....edit that Gauri doesn't have "umm" 😉 ....otherwise there will be Mahabharat on KGGK forum....aliens will attack you and moderators of this KGGK forum will not even know what has hit them... 😆 😆
