After Kiran's comeback into the soap, the story has taken a twist. According to the narrative, Om has lost his memory and he remembers nothing about his former wife, Parvati. A unit member says, "It was a crucial scene as the fire is was used as shock effect that would bring back Om's memory.
We made sure of all the safety measures while shooting for the sequence. Sakshi too, did not have a problem with the scene. She is quite professional."
Everything was going right till the fire was lit. Our source adds, "Suddenly, the flames got out of control. Initially, Sakshi was a little uncomfortable as the temperature was very high. Kiran was standing next to the fire. He noticed Sakshi's sari pallu catching fire and immediately jumped to her rescue. He acted like a real life hero."
After the accident, Sakshi was given water to drink and she was fine within minutes. When contacted, Kiran Karmarkar laughed it off. He asked, "How did you get to know about this? Nothing serious happened." When we probed further, he said, "Sakshi's pallu caught fire so I had to take immediate action. That was all."

According to unit members, the incident brought back memories of a similar episode with Nargis and Sunil Dutt during the shooting of Mother India. Kiran however, put all doubts at rest immediately. He says, "Not at all, that particular accident was of a larger scale than this.
Moreover, what happened with Nargis and Sunil Dutt will never happen in our case. I already have my Nargis (Rinku Karmarkar) at home. Sakshi and I have a very good working relationship
