According to Rupali, the most important thing about the show is that it is not like other rubbish shows where there are women who bash men all the time. "We women are not connected to each other however as the tagline suggest we have a special bond with each other. They are there to enjoy life and to show how life is so beautiful."
Talking about what made her accept this show, she says, "After a year when Aatish and J D approached me for this role I did not even ask them anything about my role or the show. After Sarabhai, I was not comfortable with the offers which I used to get. You do any serial if the role or money excites you but I did not feel that. Here though I feel like I am working again with my friends."
Praising the production house, Rupali says, "Hats off is like a family to me. In this show also there are lots of senior actresses like Neenaji and Sulabhaji but they are very nice. The atmosphere is the same like when a group of females gather anywhere. We enjoy, gossip and have fun. I am learning so many things from them and they never treat us like they are senior and all as there are lots of new faces in the show. During Sarabhai we had a family of pandavas. Now we have a bigger family here on this set. We are getting a chance to know each other. Till now we had no fights on the sets so let's see what happens in future."
The show is starting soon on NDTV Imagine. It is a one hour weekly show. Before this, Rupali did two episodes cameo in Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki.
