DOTW, Pranay and Chotu.

On Monday the Aug. 13th, Pranay was going to call the police on Chotu. However he was stopped by Sonu and Varun. Then, again on Tuesday Aug. 14th he did the same, but this time Parvati stopped him. She told him that "Chotu ran after Bhim to tie a friendship band on him and he saved Bhim by pushing him out of the way of a car and got hurt himself." After that, everyone gets mad at Pranay.

In everyone's eyes Pranay now looks like the bad one, but what if this is what Pallavi and Chotu want. He maybe just acting. Who knows what this show has still to come for us.

Pranay has become a powerhungry person who just wants everything to work out in his favour. He can't stand that Adi is helping Mets, even though he himself has insulted Mets so many times; he can't stand it if Shravan or Karthik insult Parvati Mama, but he has no qualms about doing it himself. Similarly, he knows that Chotu is being backed by Parvati, which is why he is adamant that Chotu should leave. Once upon a time, HE was the ideal son, the ideal grandson, and now, Chotu seems to be taking his place.
2. In our eyes it is shown that Chotu is mentally unstable, but still he leaved with Pallavi, do you think that Pranay might have been doing the right thing by calling the police? Before 14th Aug's ep, I would have said no, but since Pallavi has made reference to the fact that there is something going on beneath the surface, I'm beginning to wonder whether this guy is actually doing more harm than good...
3. Is Chotu really not in his right mind, as Pallavi was there his whole childhood and she could have planted things in his mind? It's possible that those drugs they've been feeding him have made him like this, as in Koshish Ek Aasha and Thodi Si Zameen, Thoda Sa Aasman - the mother fed her kid drugs to turn him mad. Also, Chotu's flashbacks and fitful sleep surely indicates that he was made to be like this - even Sissy and the Nanda kids have mentioned more than once that Ishaan was the head of the family once...
4. Will Pranay ever be able to get his own way and call the police on Chotu? I think he will definitely do something really bad soon enough. Shravan's pranks are 'bachkane' and usually backfire on him anyway😆😆, but doors are closing for Pranay - he's going to explode soon...
5. Will Pranay except the fact that Chotu is Sameers son and he is like it or not his brother (well not by blood, since Tanu really is.)? Pranay will never accept this fact, in fact it will make it even worse for him because Chotu is Sameer's son by blood - meaning that he has the biological right on Sameer, and the name Kaul. It also means that Chotu will be eligible for the business because he is the biological son. Pranay's own identity will be shattered again, and this will probably put him more off the edge. But something concerns me - if Pranay knows that Chotu is Gayatri Maasi's son (and he didn't even know who Gayatri Maasi was until recently), then shouldn't he already know that Chotu is Sameer's son?

Firstly, i like Chotu, the guy who plays him is doing a great job, love his scenes with Parvati, they are so cute

Maybe because he is the actual son of Sameer, and also the business and everythign could go to him

I think Pallavi made Chotu really clever during is his childhood, but when he got older and an adult, Pallavi made him mad, coz she know Parvati would come looking for him

No, i still wouldn't say that he should've called teh police. It's too early to tell what's up with Pallavi so i don't think at the moment Pranay would've been doing the right thing by calling the police.😊

As they showed today, Sissy had said something like Chotu had been alright once and only now he's mad. Maybe she had or maybe she hadn't.

Well, i don't think that the family members would let him especially Paro i mean afterall he is their blood and Paro's grandson.😊

Well, the first reason that Pranay hates Chotu so much is coz Parvati is the one who's brought Chotu home and Pranay has to find fault with anything Parvati does.😉 Secondly and importantly, Pranay views Chotu as the biggest threat to his position in the house. Coz if Chotu is cured by Parvati, he will have a legitimate claim on Agarwal house and the property... its Pranay's fear of Chotu's acceptance in the house and by the family that is making him react violently towards him... so he's doing all he can to somehow get Chotu out of Agarwal house. And yeah, as Parvati correctly said... Pranay is jealous of Chotu... he can't bear to see the family love Chotu and care about him so much...😃

Well, Pranay is definitely wrong... mainly coz we might have been able to justify his action once if he was doing it out of real concern for the family and was misguided by Chotu's mental status... but Pranay is doing all this for his own selfish reasons... and secondly and again most importantly, Chotu hasn't done anything wrong... yeah, he reacted violently against Pranay but that was under provocation and he isn't mentally stable... and he did a great thing by saving Bhim... so Pranay would be wrong under all circumstances...😃

Well, I'm really confused about that too.😕 There are certain occassions when Chotu really looks mentally ill... like those nightmares he's having which prove that there is something in his past... some very shocking incident which has affected him. Also the way, Sissy told Suyash and Kamal that Chotu was once normal proves that something is going on. Either Chotu is really ill... or considering the way Pallavi talks about the shock Parvati is gonna get... Chotu is just pretending to be mentally ill...its a deliberate effort by Pallavi and him to get to win Parvati's trust and then harm her in some way...😭 but then again, Pallavi keeps talking about Chotu's past so that proves that something has happened... which is gonna have a huge impact on Parvati too...

4. Will Pranay ever be able to get his own way and call the police on Chotu?

While Parvati is on Chotu's side,😳 Pranay is never even going to get near a phone to call the cops...😆 she'll fix him properly...😉 this is assuming that Pranay doesn't do something terrible and then blames Chotu for it and frames him in some crime... but I don't think that will happen coz Pranay is pretty disgusting but not that bad... yet... but yeah, with Rajeshwari and Mallishka around, Chotu has to watch his step...😉

No, Pranay is gonna find it very, very difficult to accept this fact... considering that he found it impossible to accept his own identity... accepting Chotu is gonna be near impossible for him... In fact, this might make him hate Chotu even more than he already does... and if Chotu's not pretending and is really mad... the day he recovers, there are gonna be major probs between Pranay and him... and yeah, we all know what a creep Sameer can be too... he's gonna support his own son Chotu, whether Chotu is right or wrong... over Pranay when things reach a showdown stage... this is gonna destroy Pranay even more and totally break him... Yeah, Pranay deserves to be taught a good lesson...🤢 but the day Sameer turns against him is gonna really shatter him... Am actually waiting for the day that Pranay finds out that Chotu is Gayatri and Sameer's son... 😉coz I don't think any of the kids know that Sameer was previously married to Gayatri... 😃

😆😆😆 The Agarwal kids need help... 😆Chotu isn't the only crazy one out there...😉 in fact, on the face of it all, he looks the sanest.🤣 Actually, u know yaar, I don't think the kids even know who Pallavi is... 😉I really doubt that they know that she is their beloved Kamal Chachu's ex-wife.😆 They all react to her like she's a complete stranger who is just interfering in their lives... Kamal stops Pallavi and threatens to hit her and says that let people know that I spent years with a woman like u who tried to ruin my family... 😃u know why they are quiet yaar...😉 they have all been shocked into silence at Kamal Dadu's 'brilliant' choice in women...🤣 Pallavi and Trashna...🤣 no seriously again... 😳they know that Chotu became Ishan Nanda coz Pallavi bought him and raised him as a Nanda kid, Balraj Nanda's son. 😃The only fact I think they are not aware of is the real truth of Gayatri's death coz Parvati will never hurt the family by telling them in what unfortunate circumstances Gayatri died... a drug addict who had lost her mental balance and then that accidental killing by Mayuri... that's why Parvati hasn't given the family the true facts...😉 just informed them and held that 'shraddh'... 😃

Rather than the kids, I'm more worried about the oldies and Sonu, Varun etc's generation - none of them seem to have the slightest interest in anything these days 😆 They just accept whatever Paro tells them, and stand in the shadows like lemons...
