The sets of Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii turned into a mad-house recently when the actors found a two-and-a-half metre long snake hanging from the ceiling of the studio.

The incident happened at the Sankraman studio, where Ali Merchant aka Bharat and Kiran Dubey aka Rajeshwari were giving their shots. When contacted, Ali recalled, "It was one of the few light scenes, where we were just being ourselves. Suddenly, I noticed a long green-coloured rope-like thing hanging from the ceiling, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Soon afterwards, a unit hand noticed it and started screaming on the top of his voice. I was shocked when I realised that it was actually a snake and not a rope. Later, a snake charmer was called to take the slimy creature away. This held up the shooting for an hour."

"Actually, the studio where we were shooting is surrounded by bushes and trees. Incidents like this have happened before, when we have come across creepy- crawlies. But having a poisonous snake around was a bit scary," said Ali.
