Rapidfire with Sakshi Tanwar - HT

Sakshi Tanwar is one of the favourite telly bhabhis and bahus and re cently got an award too (she's been getting them every year) for having the viewers glued to Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki and its protagonist Parvati's joys and travails. While she's done other shows like Devi on Sony, she says right now it's just Kahani for her as "I'm happy being part of it for which I work about 20 days a month while for the rest of it I just take a break."

Do you watch TV?

Where is the time to watch TV? Even if I get the time, which is only after I come home at 11 in the night after a hard day's shoot, it's usually to just relax.

Favourite shows…

All the shows which are telecast at 11 pm and after…I love The Great Indian Comedy Show as also the repeats of Sarabhai V/S Sarabhai. Sometimes when I have an afternoon working shift, I also watch Buniyaad, which is aired sometime at 2-2.30. And of course, I watch a lot of news.

A show you wouldn't mind being part of… Buniyaad. I wish I were part of it. Though Lajoji's character is of course something every actress would love to play, I think even Soni Razdan's character of the daughter-in-law, Lochan is very interesting and well written.

An alternate ending for a show you'd suggest… I think anything to do with TV serials is a creative decision. I don't think I'm in a position to comment on it.

Pet peeve against the TV industry

None. Because when you love what you are doing the rest doesn't matter. I love my work and my work means a lot to me so where is the time to complain.
