No. If it was anyone else, she wouldn't forgive them for what they did to Shruti. They have shown such a strong mother-daughter bond between Shruti and Paro...that should be maintained. Besides, Gayatri's reasoning was stupid.

I don't think Parvati should forgive Gayatri. After all, it is not a small issue at all. The entire happening has caused so much pain to the family members, Shruti and Parvati herself. And it probably helped in create a rift between the family members when they felt that Parvati was actually disbelieving them regarding Shruti's kidnapping.
Shruti has also paid dearly for the two-stage kidnappings.
Parvati should wait till Gayatri's child is born and then should tell everybody abt her reality. they should all then decide on the course of action. We should remember that someone in the family already knows abt Gayatri's secret. So even if Parvati keeps quiet, the truth will reveal itself. Parvati might not know this, but Gayatri does. So things are definitely gonna be murkier in the coming days, methinks. 😕

i agree. i think that other person might be trishna...remember when she met rohit bakshi and had a weird look on her face? at the time ppl thought that maybe she was the kidnapper and thats why she looked weird, but maybe its coz she knows about gayatri?

also, i have the strangest feeling that the letter that parvati read may have been about something other than the kidnapping,...like something else, something less major than the kidnapping, that Gayatri may have done. Maybe the other person switched the letters...I didnt think this before, but i just watched that ep today and here's why i think so:

1. Neither Gayatri nor Parvati mention anything about kidnappings, Shruti (except for when Paro tells G not to tell S) or in fact anything to do with the incident. Its too vague, if you ask me, and it makes me suspicious. If the truth has come out between them, the least they should do (and always do) is actually mention it by name. Also, these things almost always end in MAJOR confrontations and family arguments, and this seemed too peaceful by comparison.

2. I still cannot fathom that Parvati would have such a relatively mild reaction to the news that her beloved Shruti was kidnapped by her own daughter. Remember when she thought it was Shikar and then SD?? She was absolutely livid with anger and said that she would go mad for her daughter. I know that this is the second kidnapping, so shouldn't her reaction have been worse, esp. if it was her own daughter? 3. I may be wrong but I don't think I have seen Parvati dwelling on this issue after speaking to Gayatri. Its as if she has forgotten it. I find it extremely hard to believe that she would let this go, even if she only cried about it to herself. I know there are other things going on in the family but this is ridiculous...the lack of emotion being shown.

I know Paro is concerned about the baby but I think that is too lame an excuse to forgive Gayatri if Paro does know the real truth. So I'm thinking that maybe there's another twist headed our way. If I am wrong, then I have majorly misunderstood Parvati's character and I shall be very disappointed if this is the case.

I totally agree with the points you have mentioned psawyer. I was extremely shocked that firstly parvati reacted very lightly towards gaytri, like when she thought it was SD she gave me a heck of hard slap, and she was going mad. And plus parvati has seemed to have forgoten about the whole kidnapping thing, and for shruti who for parvati was everything she even would go againt her OM.

Parvati's emotions were not evident at all regarding this whole kidnapping thing when she finds out that it was gaytri, which is nothing like what parvati has been protraying, and is against her characater.
