Ending... (spoilers inside)

I loved the show. I loved the lead actors. I don't want to continue dwelling on what went wrong and how it could have been saved.

I am watching it while trying to say a peaceful goodbye. But one thought won't leave me and I humbly want your opinion on it.

All of us know that the show will end with Nishi being exposed and Ronakshi getting back together and Sonakshi coming back to the Sippy mansion. Sandip Sikcand said as much.

But I can't convince myself of this. Honestly as a woman with some self respect and some ego and self preservation I would not want to go to a family which is self serving at the best and manipulative hypocritical entitled as***s at the worst.

Not a single person in SM apart from YK and Vimmi have ever placed others before themselves.

Coming to Rohit, he admitted that he is not with Sona cos of family pressure. So why should Sona go back to that family and that person who cannot make her a priority. I am not saying Rohit doesn't love her but I feel like Rohit's love is by his convenience. He has admitted that if the choice is between Sona and his mother, he will always choose his mother. And all that drivel about keeping Sona away for her own good is also selfish, he could have walked away with her. Arey Rohit showed more gumption with Raima, roz usko call karma, pure ghar ko pareshan Kar Pune pahunch jana, apni pyaari mummy ka birthday chaar saal nahi manana...

Now if the mother was a decent human being it would have been fine but I feel Veena is worse than Nishi. Veena's love is more for convenience than even Rohit's. There is just an appearance of goodness and sophistication but it's all selfish really. I would never be able to trust such a person. She hasn't let up! She kidnaps Sona and then relents only when Rohit is in trouble! Man Suman is so much better...

Anyway this rant is just cos I feel disturbed that the character progression has lead us to a point where the ending won't be satisfactory. Having said it, I dare the makers (they aren't going to read this though and also it's not gonna happen I know) to not unite Ronakshi. Or at least to not bring Sonakshi to SM. Please give the female lead character her dignity to be able to walk away from selfish relationships of convenience or at least make it clear that it was not OK the way she was treated and to put forth a message --- “Love is not love which alters it when alteration finds, or bends with the remover to remove: O no! It is an ever fixed mark that looks on tempests and is never shaken; it is the star to every wandering bark whose worth's unknown, although his height be taken."-Shakespeare

Let me tell you the ending is Rohit and Sonakshi walking out of Sippy Mansion hand in hand.

@TM - well said. They should have the guts to show the couple not uniting at the end. Because which self-respecting woman would want to willingly walk back into the snake pit that is Sippy mansion? Go back to a husband who demeans her and puts her down every time they meet? Yeah yeah he's doing it out of pure louw for her we are told 😆 but Sonakshi doesn't know he's pretending, does she? As far as she knows he is treating and speaking to her badly.

Now which woman with an iota of self respect or pride would want to go back for second helpings of the same crap? Because people don't magically change overnight.

But of course they won't show such an ending because couple fans have to be catered to. Doesn't matter what utter nonsense is being showed. All that matters is the couple should unite at the end and walk off into the sunset No wonder ITV is mostly rubbish. It has very low standards to meet.

Dude. The whitewashing of chars won't be shown! Ronakshi is gonna walk out of that shitty mansion!

And it is fiction...the much in love is supposed to reunite at the end! They planned things in a much much different way! But sandiip cannot do anything ehen channel is scrapping tracks after tracks! He has written so much, even shot for so many sequences too but what happened? The channel threw his scripts in the bin and chopped the scenes off!

The best thing they r doing right now is showing that not everyone can be forgiven and when the family is full of such toxic ppl and do not care about u..its better to walk off!

@TM good points. But do you think the track was believable or balanced?? I thought to make Sona a victim the makers ruined the whole show by turning all sippy family villianous and whitewashed the obvious villan..Naren Sippy🤔

whole tracks post Marraige were all been stupid and very much one sided to make FL a victim.

See if Sona is a strong woman she would never got married to Rohit after sippy family asked her to sign away her right as self respectful woman.

This show is not as unique as the maker claim to be. It came as such mostly due to the leads portrayal, capable support cast, comedy, subtle expressions, super dialouges and loads of positivity they had in the story telling.

But the maker wanted numbers so badly and he turned this show into a monkey circus after raima entry..

After Marraige all we saw was drama and more stupid drama. All the tracks were all about Sona being blamed and Rohit to put through fire test again and again to prove himself a worthy husband who deserves Sona..

God here we thought after the traumatic wedding track we will get light hearted happy episodes🤢this was the worst period in KHKt.

Coming to your point in who is right or wrong..I feel all characters lost their essence and what we are seeing now is actors excellent portrayal of their craft.

I feel no sympathy for Rohit because he was never a guy who acted irresponsibly towards his life/duty and also can never imagine him accusing Sona as character less thus Rohit as a character died now only am watching KVG's skills as an actor.

Sona after Marraige couldn't connect to her as a woman who cared for her man. She became a character without much warmth and a sacrificial person who doesn't have any desires of her own.. It's like wherever she goes she is the victim.. Always misunderstood by everyone.. She is so pure..

Sona will go back to Sippy Family not for Rohit but it's because that's what selfless good Sona would/should do. She needs to be a Parvati who needs to be adroed and to be in spotlight..

One other mistake I could never overlook in this show is Sona overdose... Can you guys tell me one track that did not victamise Sona and everyone else are the villan starting from Suman, Sumit, Pari, sippy family members, nethra, countless extras brought in to make Sona a victim/right.

But they turned Naren to her saviour just like Sumit became her bestest friend since they changed into good person because of her.. in the show where they had no fixed villans made anybody a villan/hero for Sona sake..

Rohit had great chemistry not only with Sona but almost all the other characters. Will forever miss Rohit Veena, RohitYk, Rohit Tulsi, RohitRavi, RohitVimmy bonds. The makers destroyed lot more for Rohit than Sona who still allowed to have Suman, Suimt, Pari, etc...

ohh The show disrespected and misused all the sacred bonds so carelessly. That's unforgivable that they destroyed a mother/son relationship in this manner.. One of the reason why it never connected to all audiences.

So yes Sona should not forgive Sippy Family members and if she goes back to Rohit then both her and Rohit need to apologise to EO and she should demand public apology from Rohit for his actions and it should come in medias.

Makers got notice to end the show in such short time that they are bound to show the ending in a way as to wind up all tracks quickly.This might not have been the original plans of makers.But they were bound to do so due to less time in hands,non availability of lead actress for few days and to give an ending which can satisfy majority in terms of being happy ending.Even I would be happy if Rohit Sonakshi unite at the end and leave sippy mansion as mentioned above.

Let me tell you:

Channel interfered on all storyline post wedding. Sandip had planned a honeymoon track and Sona’s exam track etc. I am sure Sona’s dad’s return was also one of the major track but channel just wanted over the top drama thus this whole Nishi being evil angle was brought in. Even after that, makers planned for Ronakshi to stand together and expose Nishi but channel interfered again and they had to do ugly divorce drama and separation and leap. Even after leap, Sandip had planned for them to get back together my mid March and had planned an outdoor honeymoon sequence and 2 consummation sequence but before that could happen, Channel said they are off airing the show. Now they are left mid way with no closure and have to half-hazardly close the tracks that are not gonna be satisfying. They are not redeeming Sippys, esp Veena Sippy. The ending is gonna be Ronakshi exposing Nishi together and walking out of Sippy Mansion hand in hand. They will be living separately from that toxic family.

It is indeed sad to see it come to a full circle. No doubts the channel had its say-tumne ITV bahuon ki khilli udayi ab tum ITV bahu bano. FL to bani hi in fact unne to ML ko bhi Mr Parvati banaa diya, Mr ITV bahu.

Ughh I don't know the internal workings of the show makers and the telecasters but it is all a sorry tale.

Honestly, I liked all the non-villain villains in the show, they seemed more real to me. We will find people like Suman, pari,Rohan,naren, Akash amongst us everyday. What we might not find is evil nishi, idiotic Rohit and godly sona and yeah they took veena's character of a mother hen too far.

The best as I can hope is that they all become more real. Have rohit answer for his priorities and have sona determine hers independent of everyone around her. Let Rohan, Tanya and pari deal with their own shit. Let veena suffer through her delusions of protecting her so called sharif, cultured family by losing all of it. I say let's dismantle SM!
