This is absolutely wrong. HS viewership just doesn’t affect TV viewership.

The people who watch the show on TV will keep watching it on TV. One fine day, they wouldn’t decide to watch it on HS (first not everyone has access to Internet and even if they did, not everyone have so much data to stream episodes)

Moreover as I said before, 740million people watch TV whereas only 200million people watch shows on Hotstar.
There is a gap of around 540 million viewers and this is HUGE.

Idk how many are aware of this but India doesn’t recognise its own entertainment industry. infinite episodes and not taking risks to experiment with different content is why ITV never progresses.

@isharian why bother comparing Indian shows with American ones 😩😂 just take a look at some of the Asian dramas i.e Korean, chinese, Taiwanese. They have better content than most Indian serials and they don’t stretch to even a 100 episodes.
