Just caught up on this week's episodes. Two things I loved :
1. The silent treatment from sona's end. An extremely well handled part by Sona. I loved how REAL Dipika made the whole scene. The emotions she felt - betrayed because her husband lied to her, not once but almost everyday since she brought Rani into the house; unworthy because she thought she wasn't capable of being the confidant to her husband; broken because the one person she loved with all her being had played with her trust and feelings.
"don't say anything rohit, i wont be able to understand if you would be saying the truth or lying" - that woman completely gave it back to rohit without raising her voice. I could see the hole she made in her husband's heart with that one line.
"I controlled myself in front of Rani because I didn't want an outsider to know the tension between us" I really like how maturely sonakshi handles every matter. She might not have cleared her SSC board exam but she has seen and experienced enough of this world to grow maturely to the point that she knows what to do when, what to say when and to whom. The writer should really take a bow for the way they're portraying sonas character.
And then the scene where she comes home, breaks down grabbing the pillow to her chest and rohit watches that silently, helplessly. And it hits him what a grave mistake he has made and how much he has hurt his Sona, to the extent that his eyes wells up with tears and he turns around, quietly wipes his eyes as his lips trembled and leaves the room. BEAUTIFUL!
The tie scene - loved how Sona was upset yet she is fulfilling every responsibility of a wife. And then she stops him from u tying her braid and indirectly tells him if he couldn't trust her with the truth, she also can't let him mould her his way..and she leaves.
"don't do this to me Sona... You don't know what I'm going through" - I really... And I mean REALLY felt that. Beautiful portrayal of the agony and hurt by Karan.
2. And finally the patch up. I absolutely admired Karan in this scene. I loved how he was completely frustrated from his wife's silent treatment and dragged her to clear the whole issue.
There were many hints given on the way and I loved how sona's brain worked and she joined the dots and understood that it was naren. I makes me feel so content the way this woman can read her husband❤️
The way rohit cried 💔 a successful and one of the best surgeons of India wept like a baby... I teared up. Isn't it the first time he cried like this?
And my favorite part was how Sona hugs him to her chest. I could see her heart dropping as she started coming closer and closer to the truth...and i dont know about others but i felt it was mostly cause she was grieving for rohit more than anyone. And she embraced him in her warmth to radiate whatever strength she had so that her husband can gather himself together. And then she kissed his forehead because she knew he needed love and comfort more than anything else at that point. I absolutely loved this scene.
The reason Isde this post is because I truly wanted to appreciate sona's character. She is balancing every relationship of hers with the Sippy family members with so much perfection.
Yes it was irritating how she took puja to Rani and stuff. And we started bashing her saying she needs to stop acting like parvati. But you know what I think? By making that "mistake" she PROVED that she isn't playing the role of parvati in her real life. Because if she did, she wouldnt have made that mistake because parvati is always right and she doesn't make mistakes 😉
Cheers!
