Sick of Sona

Dear god I am so sick of this character. I feel like she is forcing herself down everyone’s throat

Her inability to stick up for herself when needed but acting self righteous when she is clearly wrong is getting on my last nerve.

It’s okay to be a b&&&@ once in a while, to lose your temper, to stand up for yourself ...why this woman continues to be a door mat is beyond me

I can’t watch this show anymore because of Sona which sucks cause I like Rohit and his sarcasm from time to time ...he balanced Sona out but as of late Sona is too much ...

don’t get me started on Sonas in-laws ...it’s like stupid got married to stupider ..both Veena and Narin suck as of late

She stood up for herself time and again when people over ride on her..

In the party also, today she stood up for herself, it's wise to not open up much in front of morons when a straight and firm take can shut them up.. That's what she exactly did..

The sippys were hosting, so just because one guest goes out of way and talks shit doesn't mean she should give up on her character and talk whatever comes to her mind... It would have been ridiculous.. The way she aptly pointed out about builders was a very wise move...

As a human being too when someone tries to be mean and say such shitty things, it's important that one does not loose the cool and learn to answer firm.. That works the best.. And such morons won't understand howmuchever when one shouts or talks in their same own language..

You just have say it firm and to the point as and when required without dragging it.. That's exactly what Sona did...

Her character is intact and she is been like this since the beginning

She just couldn't have said about her fil being gynac and all that would have been too much from a dil aspect, suman can say this, but not Sona..

They have killed sona's character for the sake of trp and now according to spoilers she is going to quit soon for the sake of family (in laws) . She forgot she has rastogis her own family to take care of. They have turned her into a spineless woman . She was bold , independent and strong before marriage but now she is a doormat in front of her in laws especially naren. The writing is haywire. Anyways I wanted to move on from the show ever since 26th September started but stayed for the leads now if the spoiler turns out to be true I can bid goodbye without any lingering feelings. The makers are making it easy for me

She apologized considering her him family, for Rohit, coz the atmosphere of party got spoiled, not because she doesn't respect her work.. She said clearly to Naren that she won't accept anyone going overboard with her profession. She apologized for the mess in the party and the way she spoke to an elderly person. To which Rohit clearly said that in future she should speak that way as and when required.

Doing rain dance intimately is not wrong, she didn't say it's wrong, it's Rani who came in between trying to earn brownie points, after she completes(for whatever reason that lady has) Sona said that because of people like that of naren's friend, actresses often get defamed even if they do their work with clear intentions and justice(immandari), she was clear enough to tell that, that was her work!

Howmuchever one tries to explain such morons they will still be in the same roll and repeat the same shit... Waste of energy and below dignity even in trying to justify to them!

Apolozing doesn't always mean that one is wrong, apologizing also means to put off the ego side ways and reconcile the relationship and families run on the basis of love, so these petty things of apologising, not apologising doesn't matter... She considers Naren to be family whatever reason that may be that's a different thing, and elders in family often stay angry with certain things which they don't understand and start degrading it, but being a young member of the house doesn't it become some kind of duty to put your point forth and try and make them understand your pov. It's a different thing that Naren doesn't wish to listen and it's ridiculous on his part.. But Sona can't just let that go, she is definitely going to try her level best to settle things out between her and naren, because she has been yearning for a family since the age of 12 .. Yearning for Father's love.. It's a different thing!! She feels Naren is just angry with her... And the one thing because of which she is sticking to that relationship is because the way Naren put his hand on her on the day of sangeet and told her welcome to the family, for us as viwers it was just a normal blessing, but for Sona it was more than a feeling, she felt the lost love of a father. A father's love for a daughter is different, a daughter loving the father is different. That love she was missing and she yearns for it, her heart yearns for that love... And now that she sees Rohit addressing naren as papa and sees how Naren gets proud of Rohit, she feels even she can make that place in Naren's heart as a daughter so that she can get the same love...

So you tell me.. Yearning for that love is wrong??!! Naren is definitely wrong in treating her... But her yearning heart for a father's love doesn't see that.. She is a girl with many scars... and her heart seeks love from each person it meets in Rohit's family!

Love means accepting people as they are ..not changing them or judging them for their profession/personality like Narin has been doing. There is some compromise in any relationship but when things like ownership start coming into the picture, then things are skewed

The Sippy family is obsessed with ownership and rules. This constant Sona is the DIL of the house screams ownership. She is either Rohits wife or DIL of Sippy...when is she just Sona?? Her identity is melting away and it seems like she is allowing it to happen.

This is a huge issue with ITV ...ownership of women as daughters, mothers, sisters and DIL...these various roles of pride are turned into shackles by this constant crap of “Ghar ki Izaat”
