They show Sippys as a big joint family ... if this was Naren's self earned wealth, he needn't have even bothered.

No contractual agreement on property between FIL and DIL is valid regarding marriage inheritences after marriage or before marriage .ezcept during divorce process once it's initiated

.any dispute regarding alimony or property Dil gets is according to the law and judge discretion in court ..

If there should be no dispute u can make deals then during divorce process outside of court ..that's valid and if u reject alimony it should be clarified during divorce process

In India any contractual agreement between hubby and wife before marriage itself invalid ..regarding property

A practising lawyer in this forum itself told this

U use the word prenup or not it does not matter

Law clearly says any contractual agreement regarding property before marriage in Hindu act of marriage is invalid bcis marriage is not contract in Hindu religion .

If that's the case in India every one pressurises Dil to sign those .so to protect women rights govt made those type of contracts invalid regarding marriage ..

u r right..but ppl do sign those agreements here in india but they won't be considered valid in court in case divorce happens! So its ok if they sign them but they will not hold any importance in the court!

Hope they show both of them on roads ..literally counting every single Paisa after truth gets reveals

If they show other way I have to assume khkt supports this nonsense

Yeah if they have shown Deepa part of it it would have been ridiculous ..being a lawyer she has to know these kind of contracts are equal to trash

I thoroughly enjoyed it for the strong characterisations and especially because of the couple. And even with the drama, I felt the story was tight knit with minimum loopholes/bloopers for the longest time.

This is the problem.

The truth is that all shows have illogical and unrealistic tracks with dher saara drama. But the fans of the show will still keep saying that the show is ‘unique’ and ‘realistic’.
It is okay. Firts understand that most of the shows these days start with novel concepts but they given in to drama for TRP. So no show is any better than the other. It is just our love for the leads and the actors that makes the drama in our fav shows more endurable than the drama in other shows.

Well everyone is entitled to their opinions but my post was regarding what I've felt about ITV all these years. And this show is really different from majority of ITV shows. And this difference is not regarding picking up something unusual to show but in terms of "PRESENTATION".Which many shows fail to show even in their first 100 episodes.Cz all they indulge in is showing arrogant ML, flawless FL and bitchy family members. And khkt despite having many flaws is still untouched from bhari bharkam dialoguebaazi and OTT plotting and OTT expressions n dhoomtanana music😉😛Things which I hate seeing in ITV shows.Jinhe Ni manna na mane,cz they are seriously hell bent on not admitting anything😔They are simply giving lame excuses here 👎🏼

I haven't called NK unique and realistic in my comment. I've rather said that the story is tight knit and the characterisations are strong. NK's core plot itself was highly dramatic (it wasn't just another love story cum family drama) so there is no way that the tracks wouldn't have drama. If a shownl starts with a premise of high drama, it should be able to sustain it throughout, else things feel too feeble and the essence is lost. Similarly, if it starts with a rom-com kind of premise, switching to high-voltage drama midway takes away from the essence of the show. A lot of times, shows start with a different genre/theme and then suddenly switch gears, that ruins the show big time. There needs to be a balance.

On Itv, every show definitely needs to go the drama way to survive in the race for TRPs. The question is how many of them do that at the cost of butchering their characters and/or losing the core premise. I didn't feel NK did that ever until almost the last 50 epis and that with one of the characters when they were already working towards wrapping the show (so not for TRPs, technically but because the makers lost interest).

As to the drama in the show being more endurable because of our favs, it doesn't work for me. When Ishqbaaz launched, I started watching it for Nakuul and his character of Shivaay. Being a Gul show, the expectation was always that he would be a rude and arrogant character - but that also has limits and they were maintained till Shivaay and Anika's marriage track. The way they handled the bride swap with Shivaay going to the lengths of humiliating Anika disgustingly, it wasn't needed and was quite repulsive for me. They butchered Shivaay's character at the altar of TRPs. Irrespective of how crackling a chemistry Gul portrayed between Shivaay and Anika after that (or however much I liked some of the other characters), I couldn't watch it a single day more because the character was dead for me. Despite that, Shivaay and Anika gathered quite a huge fan base. So what works or doesn't work for each person is different.

So I would disagree that everyone tolerates crappy tracks just for the love of the leads or that every show has illogical and unrealistic tracks.
