Big maang tika looks good only when u tone down the rest of ur look. If u skip all accessories but just wear a big maang tika it looks stunning. Like no earrings or a simple stud which is barely visible, no necklace, no bangles and maybe just a finger ring.

Mando, Keeping Pace with D.K's face shape which is oblong (my conjecture) the big maang-tika combining with big earrings would look absolutely stunning on her, if both the prime jeweleries were cut from the same cloth. However in her case, there is world of difference between her Tika and earrings

Not just about the face shape dear. It’s about what u want to be the focus of ur look. Generally when u accessorise u ensure the focus is on one accessory only. If everything is grand tab kis cheez pe focus karoge? Focus hat jayegi and it kinda gets distributed everywhere and eventually the whole look might fall flat.
