I was in double minds to watch the episode after the hype and Precap from last week followed by the discussions on forum. But finally I decided to watch it and then make up my mind about what happened.
Rohit-
People might hurl at me for saying this but Rohit was not wrong but not right either. Being torn apart between his ex lover and new soul mate is normal in the given circumstances. Initially he didn’t believe or take sides, he looked distressed and confused when Raima pointed her finger at Sonakshi. He even asked her if she knew Raima.
Before even Raima went on to recite the whole fiasco from that night, all Sonakshi said was ‘woh tum thi jo uss raat giri thi?’ Following which Raima told her story. I am sorry but anybody in Rohit’s place or as a matter of fact in a listeners place would get into a misunderstanding. All that he could pick up from the fiasco was Raima was lying hurt and Sonakshi did see her and didn’t take her to the hospital. How can we expect he was going to listen to Sonakshi right then. No one would ever, he will want to listen to her after he calms down and walks back through the evening. Too much happened in those minutes for him to comprehend and react. Him proposing a girl to his ex returning back, the happiness seeing her return, the relief from the guilt, the sense of freedom, to facing the accusation of his ex on his current. I feel he felt anger rush through his blood more because all he could feel was the pain that Raima went through for 4 years and his guilt of being responsible. Let’s be honest he has seen and been through that period and that’s a sore which is yet to be healed. He was bound to react that way because that’s the Rohit we have been shown from the start, had he called and listened to Sonakshi then and there it would have been so contrasting to his personality.
Given all this I would say him throwing the ring at Sonakshi is unacceptable and unforgivable. That is violence and he should not do it if it is reality. I would be disappointed and would never be able to look at Rohit the same way that I have been.
Sonakshi-
She is hurt yet again her fate has stabbed her right where she was hurt 4 years back. For her it’s more than just being accused, I feel that accusation is a mere small part of all the pain that she is beholding within her. From being in one of the most beautiful moments of her life to being in one of the worst part is not something anybody would want to be a reality. But Sonakshi is living that nightmare. She was taken back with the accusation, even more speechless with mere mention of that night. I bet that night has the most horrible moment of life curled up, and she fears it deep into every nerve of her body. She looked agonised and helpless. She knows that somebody was hurt, we are yet to be shown the whole incident from that night. I am pretty sure that Sonakshi has not done anything wrong but who would believe her in the circumstances that she was standing in today. It’s not about trusting it’s about being sane enough to ask her about her side of the story. But in a real world who does that. It’s only after the mind calms that we seek clarity. If the ring throwing is real, Sonakshi should walk out and should ask Rohit for an apology when he comes talking to her. She deserves respect if not sanity in the circumstances. I believe that a person can be angry to not ask for clarity but should not be disrespectful which Rohit is according to the precap and he owes her an apology big time for that. Honestly much more than apology. For Sonakshi I feel it’s not her fault it’s just not the right time for her and her luck.
Raima-
Her intentions that night were good. She was only intending to make Sonakshi aware how much of creep Karan is. No surprises there. But I am a little confused as to how and when Raima saw Sonakshi arriving at the farmhouse. I mean come on that’s a little too much to believe, to recognise someone you have only seen once in a photograph that also through a car glass following a fall from a building. Some super power you need. But nevertheless she did and she recited her story which was bound to be heard and before Suman could say it out she fell unconscious just at the wrong time. Drama build up I would say. Not a very convincing incident for Raima to blame Sonakshi. To be fair and honest even Karan didn’t push her, She tripped off the wine bottle. But I would have understood and agreed if she had blamed Karan for it but Sonakshi why and how. I can relate that she had expectations from Sonakshi but it’s not like she actually spoke with Sonakshi and got refused to be carried to the hospital by the later. I mean not convincing at all.
